Description

したがって本発明は、固体のリグノセルロース材料又はセルロース材料を酸触媒及び溶剤の存在下で100〜300℃の範囲の温度に加熱するリグノセルロース材料又はセルロース材料の液状化方法において、溶剤対固体材料の重量比が50以下であり、酸触媒が溶剤及び酸の重量に対し、酸濃度で50重量%以下存在し、かつ溶剤が一般分子式

(但し、R〜R は各々独立に水素原子、又は炭素原子と共にラクトン基に結合した有機基を表す)
のγ−ラクトン基を有する化合物を含む該方法に関する。
ここで言うγ−ラクトン基含有化合物とは、一般分子式(1)において、R〜R が水素原子、又は前述のような有機基である化合物のことである。この化合物の合計炭素原子数は、好ましくは20以下、更に好ましくは15以下である。

  1. 固体のリグノセルロース材料又はセルロース材料を酸触媒及び溶剤の存在下で100〜300℃の範囲の温度に加熱するリグノセルロース材料又はセルロース材料の液状化方法において、溶剤対固体材料の重量比が50以下であり、酸触媒が溶剤及び酸の重量に対し、酸濃度で50重量%以下存在し、かつ溶剤が一般分子式

    (但し、R〜R 6 は各々独立に水素原子、又は炭素原子と共にラクトン基に結合した有機基を表す)
    のγ−ラクトン基を有する化合物を含む該方法。
