Description
CH3OH + H2O → CO2 + 6H+ + 6e−
陰極での反応:

NaBH4(液体)+2H2O→(加熱または触媒)→4(H2)+(NaBO2)(液体)
H2→2H++2e−(陽極で)
2(2H++2e−)+O2→2H2O(陰極で)
適切な触媒は白金およびルテニウム、その他である。水素化ホウ素ナトリウムを改質して生成された水素燃料は燃料電池中で、酸化剤例えばO2と反応させられ、電気(すなわち電子の流れ)および水の副産物を生成する。ホウ酸ナトリウム(NaBO2)の副産物も改質プロセスで生成される。水素化ホウ素ナトリウム燃料電池は特許文献3に検討されており、参照してここに組み入れる。

Claims (43)
- 少なくとも第1のバルブコネクタを具備し、少なくとも第2のバルブコネクタを具備する燃料室部に燃料を供給するように構成された燃料サプライを有し、上記燃料室部は電子装置に電力供給する燃料電池に燃料を供給し、上記第1のバルブコネクタは、上記燃料サプライが上記燃料室部を再充填できるように上記第2のバルブコネクタと結合可能であり、上記第1のバルブコネクタおよび上記第2のバルブコネクタが相互に結合していないときには、上記第1のバルブコネクタが上記燃料サプライに対してシールを形成し、上記第2のバルブコネクタが上記燃料室部に対してシールを形成することを特徴とする充填システム。
- 上記燃料室部は上記燃料電池に燃料を供給する燃料カートリッジを有する請求項1記載の充填システム。
- 上記燃料カートリッジは上記電子装置の内部に配置される請求項2記載の充填システム。
- 上記燃料カートリッジは上記電子装置から取り外し可能である請求項3記載の充填システム。
- 上記燃料サプライは独立形の燃料コンテナである請求項1記載の充填システム。
- 上記燃料サプライは、第2の電子装置中に配置された第2の燃料電池に燃料を供給するように構成された第2の燃料室部を有する請求項1記載の充填システム。
- 上記第2の燃料室部は燃料カートリッジを有する請求項6記載の充填システム。
- 上記第2の燃料室部は取り外し可能な燃料カートリッジを有する請求項6記載の充填システム。
- 上記第1のバルブコネクタは二要素バルブの第1の要素を有し、上記第2のバルブコネクタは上記二要素バルブの第2の要素を有する請求項1記載の充填システム。
- 上記バルブコネクタの少なくとも1つは格納式である請求項1記載の充填システム。
- さらに連結管を有し、上記連結管は、上記第1のバルブコネクタに結合可能な1つの入力と、複数の出力とを有し、上記出力の少なくとも1つが上記第2のバルブコネクタに結合可能である請求項1記載の充填システム。
- 上記連結管は少なくとも1つのバルブを有し、上記入力から上記複数の出力への燃料の流れを制御する請求項11記載の充填システム。
- 第1の燃料サプライを第2の燃料サプライに結合するアダプタにおいて、
当該アダプタを上記第1の燃料サプライに結合する入力コネクタと、
当該アダプタを上記第2の燃料サプライに結合する出力コネクタとを有し、
上記アダプタは上記第1の燃料サプライから上記第2の燃料サプライへ燃料を搬送するように構成されていることを特徴とするアダプタ。 - 上記アダプタはさらにポンプを有する請求項13記載のアダプタ。
- 上記ポンプは手動ポンプである請求項14記載のアダプタ。
- 上記ポンプは電気ポンプである請求項14記載のアダプタ。
- 上記アダプタはさらに上記電気ポンプに電力供給を行う電源を有する請求項16記載のアダプタ。
- 上記電源はバッテリを有する請求項17記載のアダプタ。
- 上記電源は太陽電池パネルを有する請求項17記載のアダプタ。
- 上記電源は燃料電池を有する請求項17記載のアダプタ。
- 電源が上記燃料サプライの少なくとも1つの中に配置され、上記アダプタ内に配置された電気ポンプに電力を供給するように構成され、さらに、上記第1の燃料サプライから上記第2の燃料サプライへ燃料を搬送するように構成されている請求項13記載のアダプタ。
- 上記燃料サプライの上記少なくとも1つは第1セットの電気コネクタを有し、上記アダプタは第2セットの電気コネクタを有し、上記第2セットの電気コネクタが上記第1セットの電気コネクタと接続して電力を上記電源から上記アダプタに供給する請求項21記載のアダプタ。
- 上記アダプタはさらに上記ポンプと接続された電気スイッチを有する請求項17記載のアダプタ。
- 上記第1の燃料サプライから上記第2の燃料サプライへの燃料の流れを選択的に停止する少なくとも1つのバルブをさらに有する請求項13記載のアダプタ。
- 上記第1の燃料サプライは二要素バルブの第1の半体を有し、上記入力コネクタが上記二要素バルブの第2の半体を有する請求項13記載のアダプタ。
- 上記第2の燃料サプライは電子装置中に配置され、上記アダプタは燃料を上記第2の燃料サプライにそのままの位置で供給する請求項13記載のアダプタ。
- 上記電子装置は上記アダプタの表面上の上記出力コネクタと結合可能な格納式のバルブコネクタを有する請求項26記載のアダプタ。
- 上記燃料サプライの1つは、その中に含まれる燃料の量を監視するシステムを有し、上記アダプタは上記燃料監視システムと通信する請求項13記載のアダプタ。
- 上記燃料サプライの上記1つは、上記燃料監視システムと接続される第1セットの電気コネクタを有し、上記アダプタは上記第1セットの電気コネクタと接続される第2セットの電気コネクタを含み上記燃料監視システムから情報を受け取る請求項28記載のアダプタ。
- ディスプレイをさらに有する請求項13記載のアダプタ。
- 上記ディスプレイは発光ダイオードまたは液晶ディスプレイを有する請求項30記載のアダプタ。
- 上記アダプタは上記アダプタの動作を制御する論理制御ユニットを有する請求項13記載のアダプタ。
- 上記アダプタは上記第2の燃料サプライ中の燃料のレベルを監視するシステムをさらに有し、上記第2の燃料サプライ中のレベルが予め定められたレベルに達したときに上記監視システムが上記燃料の上記第1の燃料サプライからの流れを停止する請求項13記載のアダプタ。
- 上記第2の燃料サプライは上記第2の燃料サプライ中の燃料の量を測定する燃料ゲージを有し、上記監視システムが上記燃料ゲージと接続されている請求項33記載のアダプタ。
- 上記監視システムは上記アダプタの動作を制御する論理制御ユニットを有する請求項33記載のアダプタ。
- 上記予め定められた値は上記燃料室部の容量の約85%から約95%未満である請求項33記載のアダプタ。
- 電力を供給する燃料電池を含む電子装置の内部に配置された燃料室部をそのままの位置で充填する方法において、
上記燃料電池用の燃料を内包する燃料サプライを選択し、
上記燃料サプライを上記燃料室部と流体連通するように配置し、
上記燃料サプライを上記燃料室部と流体連通するように配置するステップは、燃料サプライコネクタを燃料室部コネクタと流体連通するように配置することを含み、
さらに上記燃料を上記燃料サプライから上記燃料室部へ搬送することを特徴とする上記方法。 - 上記燃料室部中の燃料のレベルを監視するステップをさらに有する請求項37記載の方法。
- 上記燃料室部中のレベルが予め定められたレベルに達したときに燃料の搬送を停止するステップをさらに有する請求項38記載の方法。
- 上記燃料室部中のレベルが上記燃料室部の容量の約85%から約95%に達したときに燃料の搬送を停止する請求項39記載の方法。
- 上記燃料サプライを上記燃料室部と流体連通するように配置するステップは、上記燃料サプライコネクタおおび上記燃料室部コネクタの間にアダプタを設けるステップをさらに有する請求項37記載の方法。
- 上記アダプタが上記燃料室部中の燃料のレベルを監視し、上記燃料室部中のレベルが予め定められたレベルに達したときに燃料の搬送を停止する請求項41記載の方法。
- 少なくとも第1のバルブコネクタを具備し、少なくとも第2のバルブコネクタを具備する燃料室部に燃料を供給するように構成された燃料サプライを有し、上記燃料室部はマイクロガスタービンエンジンに燃料を供給し、上記第1のバルブコネクタは、上記燃料サプライが上記燃料室部を再充填できるように上記第2のバルブコネクタと結合可能であり、上記第1のバルブコネクタおよび上記第2のバルブコネクタが相互に結合していないときには、上記第1のバルブコネクタが上記燃料サプライに対してシールを形成し、上記第2のバルブコネクタが上記燃料室部に対してシールを形成することを特徴とする充填システム。
