Abstract
Description
40%≦Al2O3≦94%、
0%≦ZrO2≦41%、
2%≦SiO2≦22%、好ましくは3%≦SiO2≦22%、
1%<Y2O3+V2O5+TiO2+Sb2O3+Yb2O3+Na2O。
・TiO2≧2%;
・ZrO2<35%、好ましくはZrO2<30%;
・Y2O3+V2O5+TiO2+Sb2O3+Yb2O3+Na2Oの合計含量が5%以下。その理由は、この数値よりも大きくすると、主結晶相の変態が起き、それによって製品の他の性質が劣化する可能性がある(たとえば、耐腐食性や欠陥の露呈など)。
・Y2O3+V2O5+TiO2+Sb2O3+Yb2O3+Na2Oの合計含量は、鉱物質酸化物を基準とした重量パーセントで、1%より大、好ましくは2%より大、より好ましくは3%より大である。その理由は、Y2O3+V2O5+TiO2+Sb2O3+Yb2O3+Na2Oの含量が高いほど、製品の気泡発生挙動が好ましい方向に改良されるからである。さらに
・Y2O3、V2O5、TiO2、Sb2O3、Yb2O3、Na2Oの少なくとも1種から、好ましくはY2O3、V2O5、TiO2、Sb2O3、Yb2O3の少なくとも1種から、より好ましくはY2O3とTiO2の少なくとも1種からの酸化物の含量は、鉱物質酸化物を基準とした重量パーセントで、1%より大、好ましくは2%より大、より好ましくは3%より大である。TiO2やY2O3は、Y2O3、V2O5、TiO2、Sb2O3、Yb2O3、Na2Oからの、好ましい酸化物である。その理由は、それらは低コストで極めて良好な結果を与えるからである。しかしながら、Na2Oの使用は、工業スケールでの実施可能性の面では不利となる可能性があるが、それは、欠陥につながりかねない、ネフェリン(2SiO2Al2O3Na2O)が生成する可能性があるからである。
a)Y2O3、V2O5、TiO2、Sb2O3、Yb2O3、Na2Oからの酸化物の1種または複数からなる構成成分を、鉱物質酸化物を基準とした重量パーセントで、1%よりも多い量で添加した粗原料の混合物から、本発明によるグリーン部材を調製する工程;
b)前記グリーン部材を焼結する工程。
・0〜20mmの間のサイズを有する粒子、たとえば、ソシエテ・ユーロペーヌ・ドゥ・プロデュア・レフラクテール(Societe Europeenne des Produits Refractaires)[ユーロピアン・レフラクトリーズ・ソサイエティ(European Refractories Society)]により製造販売されている、ER−1681またはER−1711のような電鋳耐火物を粉砕して得られたもの。それらの製品は、酸化物を基準にした重量パーセントで:32〜54%ZrO2;36〜51%Al2O3;2〜16%SiO2;0.2〜1.5%Na2Oを含む;
・40μm〜3.5mmの間のサイズを有する、99%を超えるアルミナを含む、平板状または電鋳アルミナ粒子;
・溶融または焼結ムライト粒子、たとえば76.5%Al2O3と22.5%SiO2を含む粉末で、その粒子のサイズが、0.7〜3mmのもの;
・高いジルコニア含量を有する製品、たとえばソシエテ・ユーロペーヌ・ドゥ・プロデュア・レフラクテール(Societe Europeenne des Produits Refractaires)から販売されている、CS10またはCC10。それらの製品は、99%より多いZrO2を含み、そのジルコニア粒子の平均直径(D50)は3.5μmである;
・反応性アルミナ、または反応性アルミナの混合物で、99%より多いAl2O3を含み、反応性アルミナ粒子の平均直径は、0.5μm〜3μmの間で変化させることができる;
・電鋳アルミナ、その粒子のサイズが0.04〜0.5mmの間のもの;
・シリカヒューム、ソシエテ・ユーロペーヌ・ドゥ・プロデュア・レフラクテール(Societe Europeenne des Produits Refractaires)から販売されているもの。そのガラス質シリカには、93%を超えるシリカ(SiO2)を含み、粉末の形態をとっていて、その粒子は最大で1μmの平均直径を有している。本明細書の例はすべて、それを少なくとも2%含んでいる;
・水硬セメントまたは各種セメントの混合物;高アルミナセメント、たとえばアルコア(Alcoa)からのCA25を使用するのが好ましい。CA25には、78%を超えるAl2O3と、19%未満のCaOを含んでいる;
・砂中または充分にミクロ化した形態のジルコン、33%のシリカを含む;
・純度が99%より高い酸化イットリウム、酸化チタン、酸化バナジウム、酸化イットリウム、および/または酸化アンチモン;
・炭酸カルシウム、Na2CO3。
a)粗原料の混合物の調製;
b)前記混合物からのグリーン部材の形成;
c)前記グリーン部材を焼結する工程、である。
Claims (15)
- 鉱物質酸化物を基準とした重量パーセントで、
40%≦Al2O3≦94%、
0%≦ZrO2≦41%、
2%≦SiO2≦22%,
1%<Y2O3+V2O5+TiO2+Sb2O3+Yb2O3+Na2O、
の平均鉱物質化学組成を有する、グリーン部材。 - 鉱物質酸化物を基準とした重量パーセントで:
3%≦SiO2
であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のグリーン部材。 - 鉱物質酸化物を基準とした重量パーセントで:
TiO2≧2%
であることを特徴とする請求項1または2のいずれかに記載のグリーン部材。 - 鉱物質酸化物を基準とした重量パーセントで:
Y2O3+V2O5+TiO2+Sb2O3+Yb2O3+Na2O≦5%
である、先行する請求項のいずれか1項に記載のグリーン部材。 - 鉱物質酸化物を基準とした重量パーセントで:
Y2O3+V2O5+TiO2+Sb2O3+Yb2O3+Na2O>2%
である、先行する請求項のいずれか1項に記載のグリーン部材。 - 鉱物質酸化物を基準とした重量パーセントで:
Y2O3+V2O5+TiO2+Sb2O3+Yb2O3+Na2O>3%
である、先行する請求項のいずれか1項に記載のグリーン部材。 - 鉱物質酸化物を基準とした重量パーセントで、Y2O3、V2O5、TiO2、Sb2O3、Yb2O3、Na2Oの少なくとも1種の酸化物の含量が1%よりも高い、先行する請求項のいずれか1項に記載のグリーン部材。
- 鉱物質酸化物を基準とした重量パーセントで、Y2O3、V2O5、TiO2、Sb2O3、Yb2O3、Na2Oの少なくとも1種の酸化物の含量が2%よりも高い、先行する請求項のいずれか1項に記載のグリーン部材。
- 鉱物質酸化物を基準とした重量パーセントで、Y2O3、V2O5、TiO2、Sb2O3、Yb2O3、Na2Oの少なくとも1種の酸化物の含量が3%よりも高い、先行する請求項のいずれか1項に記載のグリーン部材。
- 鉱物質酸化物を基準とした重量パーセントで:
Y2O3≧1%
である、先行する請求項のいずれか1項に記載のグリーン部材。 - 鉱物質酸化物を基準とした重量パーセントで:
Y2O3≧2%
である、先行する請求項のいずれか1項に記載のグリーン部材。 - 鉱物質酸化物を基準とした重量パーセントで:
Y2O3≧3%
である、先行する請求項のいずれか1項に記載のグリーン部材。 - 先行する請求項の1項に記載のグリーン部材を焼結させることにより得られる焼結耐火物製品。
- 特にソーダ石灰(CSL)ガラスまたはエキストラホワイトソーダ石灰(EWSL)ガラスを製造するための、ガラス製造炉の終端領域における請求項13に記載の焼結耐火物製品の使用。
- 焼結耐火物製品を製造するための方法であって、少なくとも
a)Y2O3、V2O5、TiO2、Sb2O3、Yb2O3、Na2Oの酸化物の1種または複数からなる構成成分を、鉱物質酸化物を基準とした重量パーセントで、1%よりも多い量で添加した粗原料の混合物から請求項1〜12のいずれか1項に記載のグリーン部材を調製する工程と、
b)前記グリーン部材を焼結する工程と
の連続工程を含む方法。
