Abstract
【解決手段】一定の高さで積層される電池セルの隣接した電池セル同士が対を成して、当該電極端子を介して直列回路を形成するように、少なくとも一部分が折り曲げられたリード部材が適用されたことを特徴とする。それによって、本発明は、各種産業機器または電気自動車の電力要求量に合せて所定の個数の電池セルで構成される電池モジュールが便利で、かつ、速かに製造できるようにする。

図2は、本発明に係る二次電池モジュールを示す概略分解斜視図であり、図3は、本発明に係る二次電池モジュールが順次組立てられる状態を示す概略斜視図である。

Claims (19)
- 一定の高さで積層される電池セルの隣接した電池セル同士が対を成して当該電極端子を介して一つの直列回路を形成するように、少なくとも一部分が折り曲げられたことを特徴とする二次電池モジュール用リード部材。
- 前記リード部材の少なくとも一部分には安全素子が備えられていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の二次電池モジュール用リード部材。
- 前記安全素子はPTCであることを特徴とする請求項2記載の二次電池モジュール用リード部材。
- 前記リード部材は、銅、アルミニウム、ニッケル−銅及び銅−アルミニウムからなる群から選択される少なくとも一つの材料からなることを特徴とする請求項1ないし3のいずれかの1項に記載の二次電池モジュール用リード部材。
- 一定の高さで積層される電池セルの隣接した電池セル同士が対を成して当該電極端子を介して直列回路を形成するように第1項ないし第4項のいずれかの1項に係るリード部材が適用されたことを特徴とする二次電池モジュール。
- 前記リード部材の折り曲げられた部分をガイドするように貫通口が形成された絶縁性媒介体を更に含むことを特徴とする請求項5記載の二次電池モジュール。
- 前記積層された電池セルの中、最外側の電池セルの上下部分に各々配置されて当該電極端子と接続する2つの補助端子を更に含むことを特徴とする請求項5記載の二次電池モジュール。
- 前記補助端子の一部分を露出するように覆いかぶせるように前記積層された電池セルの最外側の電池セルの上下部分に各々配置される絶縁性支持体を更に含むことを特徴とする請求項7記載の二次電池モジュール。
- 前記二次電池モジュールを絶縁可能に固定する、少なくとも2つのファスナを更に含むことを特徴とする請求項5ないし8のいずれかの1項に記載の二次電池モジュール。
- 前記リード部材の安全素子の周辺部は、そのリード部材の軸線に対し、所定の角度を成すように両側が折り曲げられ、この傾斜した安全素子の周辺部に相応して前記絶縁性媒介体の貫通口にはその絶縁性媒介体の軸線に対し、所定の角度を成す傾斜面が形成されたことを特徴とする請求項6記載の二次電池モジュール。
- 前記絶縁性媒介体には、リード部材と留め具を介して電池セルがショットしないように、その留め具が貫通する部分に円筒形ボスが各々形成されたことを特徴とする請求項6記載の二次電池モジュール。
- 前記円筒形ボスの中、少なくとも1つには電池セルの電極端子を介して伝えられる熱を外部に円滑に排出させることができるように、半径方向の外側に複数個のリブが形成されたことを特徴とする請求項11記載の二次電池モジュール。
- 前記絶縁性媒介体は、複数個の電池セルを一定の高さで並んで積層して固定させることができるように、一端部の両側上下部にカッティング部と整列突起、そして、他端部の両側上下部に結合溝と結合突起が各々対応するように形成されたことを特徴とする請求項6記載の二次電池モジュール。
- 前記絶縁性支持体は、電極端子、補助端子及び留め具を介して電池セルがショットしないように、その留め具が貫通する部分に円筒形ボスが形成されたことを特徴とする請求項8記載の二次電池モジュール。
- 前記絶縁性支持体は、両端部の中、少なくとも1ケ所に長さ方向にカッティングされた開口部が形成されたことを特徴とする請求項8記載の二次電池モジュール。
- 前記留め具はボルトとナットとからなることを特徴とする請求項9記載の二次電池モジュール。
- 前記絶縁性媒介体は、PBT(polybutylene terephthalate)、ABS(acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene)及びPC(polycarbonate)樹脂からなる群から選択される少なくとも一つの材料からなることを特徴とする請求項6記載の二次電池モジュール。
- 前記各絶縁性支持体は、PBT(polybutylene terephthalate)、ABS(acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene)及びPC(polycarbonate)樹脂からなる群から選択される少なくとも一つの材料からなることを特徴とする請求項8記載の二次電池モジュール。
- 前記各電池セルは、過電流、過充電または過放電から電気的に保護できるように電池保護回路が設けられたことを特徴とする請求項5記載の二次電池モジュール。
