Description
(i)厚さ方向に沿って貫通する開口部を有するPTC要素と、
(ii)PTC要素の両主表面上に位置する第1電極および第2電極と
を含んで成る保護素子であって、
第1電極が、PTC要素の主表面上からその縁を越えて、開口部の内に向かって延在する
ことを特徴とする、保護素子が提供される。
ソケット本体部32と、
前記ソケット本体部32の外側底面34上に、第1電極36が外側底面上に電気的に接続されるように配置された上記した本発明の保護素子38と、
上記保護素子38の第2電極42上に、第2電極42の主表面から離隔するように設置された、突出部40を有する絶縁性スペーサー44と、
絶縁性スペーサー44上に配置された端子46と、
ソケット本体部32の内側底面上に配置され絶縁部材48と
を含んで成り、これらが、絶縁部材48側から挿入され、保護素子38に接触しないように端子46側まで貫通したボルト52と、端子46側に位置するナット54により固定されている。

Claims (8)
- (i)厚さ方向に沿って貫通する開口部を有するPTC要素と、
(ii)PTC要素の両主表面上に位置する第1電極および第2電極と
を含んで成る保護素子であって、
第1電極が、PTC要素の主表面上からその縁を越えて、開口部の内に向かって延在する
ことを特徴とする、保護素子であり、
PTC要素、第1電極および第2電極が、円環状であることを特徴とする、保護素子。 - 第2電極の全体が、PTC要素の主表面上に存在する請求項1に記載の保護素子。
- PTC要素が、ポリマーPTC要素である、請求項1または2に記載の保護素子。
- 第1電極が、PTC要素の開口部の外縁部全体に存在することを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の保護素子。
- PTC要素、第1電極および第2電極が、開口部を有することを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の保護素子。
- (i)円環状のPTC要素と、
(ii)PTC要素の両主表面上に位置する円環状の第1電極および第2電極と
を含んで成る保護素子であって、
第1電極の内径が、PTC要素の内径より小さく、
第2電極の内径が、PTC要素の内径と同じ、またはそれより大きい
ことを特徴とする、保護素子。 - 請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の保護素子を含んで成るソケット。
- ソケット本体部と、
前記ソケット本体部の外側底面上に、第1電極が外側底面上に電気的に接続されるように配置された請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の保護素子と、
上記保護素子の第2電極上に、第2電極の主表面から離隔するように設置された、突出部を有する絶縁性スペーサーと、
絶縁性スペーサー上に配置された端子と、
ソケット本体部の内側底面上に配置された絶縁部材と
を含んで成り、これらが、絶縁部材側から挿入され、保護素子およびソケット本体部に接触しないように端子側まで貫通したボルトと、端子側に位置するナットにより固定されている
ことを特徴とする、請求項7に記載のソケット。
