Abstract
【解決手段】初期位置から特性変換点までの第1領域では、第1連結リンク32を介して踏力が伝達される一方、特性変換点以降の第2領域では第2連結リンク34を介して踏力が伝達されるため、第1領域および第2領域で別々にレバー比特性を設定できるとともに、長穴46の長さ寸法などで特性変換点を適当に定めることができるため、ペダルストロークの任意の位置でレバー比を不連続に大きく変化させることが可能で、レバー比特性の設計の自由度が向上する。また、第1連結リンク32または第2連結リンク34を介して操作ペダル18から回動部材22に踏力が伝達されるため、オフセットによるこじりを生じて踏力の伝達効率や耐久性が大きく損なわれる恐れがない。

Description
図1は、本発明の一実施例である常用ブレーキ用のブレーキペダル装置10を、車両への設置状態において車両の横方向から見た概略正面図で、ブラケット12、14は車体に一体的に固設される。ブラケット12には、略水平な第1支持軸16の軸心まわりに回動可能に操作ペダル18が配設されているとともに、ブラケット12、14を連結している第2支持軸20には、その軸心まわりに回動可能に回動部材22が配設されており、それ等の操作ペダル18と回動部材22とに跨がってリンク機構24が配設されている。第1支持軸16および第2支持軸20は互いに平行で、それらの軸心は第1軸心、第2軸心に相当する。

Claims (2)
- 第1軸心まわりに回動可能に配設された操作ペダルと、
前記第1軸心と平行な第2軸心まわりに回動可能に配設されるとともに、リンク機構を介して前記操作ペダルに連結され、該操作ペダルの踏込み操作に連動して機械的に該第2軸心まわりに回動させられる回動部材と、
該回動部材の回動に伴って機械的に押圧または引張させられる出力部材と、
を有するブレーキペダル装置において、
前記リンク機構は、それぞれ前記操作ペダルと前記回動部材とを所定の遊びを持って連結する一対の第1連結リンクおよび第2連結リンクを備えており、
前記操作ペダルのペダルストロークの所定の特性変換点より前の第1領域では、前記第1連結リンクを介して前記回動部材が回動させられるとともに、該第1連結リンクの連結位置に応じて定まるレバー比特性1でレバー比が変化させられる一方、該特性変換点よりも後の第2領域では、前記第2連結リンクを介して該回動部材が回動させられるとともに、該第2連結リンクの連結位置に応じて定まるレバー比特性2でレバー比が変化させられる
ことを特徴とするブレーキペダル装置。 - 前記第1連結リンクおよび前記第2連結リンクは、前記操作ペダルおよび前記回動部材に対する計4箇所の連結位置がそれぞれ別個に定められているとともに、
該第1連結リンクおよび該第2連結リンクの各々について、前記操作ペダルおよび前記回動部材の何れか一方の連結位置には長穴が設けられ、該長穴により前記遊びが設けられている
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のブレーキペダル装置。
