Abstract
【解決手段】ハブ輪1と複列の転がり軸受2と等速自在継手3とがユニット化された駆動車輪用軸受装置であって、外側継手部材14の肩部19と転がり軸受2の内方部材8の内端面7aとの間に、金属板に形成された多孔質層にフッ素樹脂が含浸されたスラスト軸受25が介在させてある。

Description
本発明のスラスト軸受は、鋼板などの金属板の表面に焼結金属や溶射金属などの多孔質層を形成し、この多孔質層中にフッ素樹脂が含浸被覆された三層構造体をリング状に打ち抜いたものである。あるいはリング状に形成した鉄鋼部材の表面に焼結金属や溶射金属などの多孔質層を形成し、この多孔質層中にフッ素樹脂が含浸被覆されたものである。含浸被覆面が摺動面となり、外側継手部材の肩部と前記内方部材の内端面との間に配置した場合において異音の発生を長期間防止することができる。多孔質層およびフッ素樹脂層はスラスト軸受の裏面、表面の両面に形成した方が異音防止効果は高い。
炭素繊維の市販品は、ピッチ系として、クレハ社製:クレカミルドM101S、M101F、M101T、M107S、M1007S、M201S、M207S、大阪ガスケミカル社製:ドナカーボンS241、S244、SG241、SG244を、PAN系として、東邦レーヨン社製:ベスファイトHTA−CMF0160−0H、CMF0070−0Hが挙げられる。

Claims (2)
- ハブ輪と複列の転がり軸受と等速自在継手とがユニット化された駆動車輪用軸受装置であって、
前記複列の転がり軸受が、一端に車輪取付フランジを一体に有し、内周にトルク伝達用のセレーションが形成されたハブ輪と、このハブ輪に外嵌された内輪とからなり、外周に複列の内側転走面が形成された内方部材と、この内方部材に複列の転動体を介して外嵌され、内周に前記複列の内側転走面に対向する複列の外側転走面が形成された外方部材とを備え、前記等速自在継手を構成する外側継手部材の肩部と前記内方部材の内端面とを突合せ状態で、前記外側継手部材の軸部がセレーションを介して前記ハブ輪にトルク伝達可能に内嵌され、ねじ手段を介して前記ハブ輪と外側継手部材とが着脱自在に締結された駆動車輪用軸受装置において、
前記外側継手部材の肩部と前記内方部材の内端面との間に、金属板に形成された多孔質層にフッ素樹脂が含浸されたスラスト軸受を介装させたことを特徴とする駆動車輪用軸受装置。 - 前記フッ素樹脂がPTFEを主成分に炭素繊維と無機化合物が配合されたフッ素樹脂組成物であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の駆動車輪用軸受装置。
