Abstract
【解決手段】エンジンECUは、燃料の温度と燃料の飽和蒸気圧とにより、高温の領域(1)と低温の領域(3)とその間の領域(2)の3つの領域が規定されたマップを記憶する。領域(2)に属する場合におけるプレフィード時間Tが最も長い。エンジンECUは、エンジンの始動が要求されると(S100にてYES)、エンジン冷却水温THWを検知して(S200)、どの領域に属するのかに基づいてプレフィード時間Tを設定するステップ(S400)と、、燃圧Pが所望の燃圧しきい値P(TH)以上になるまでプレフィードを実行するステップ(S600)と、燃圧Pが燃圧しきい値P(TH)以上になると(S600にてYES)、クランキングを開始するステップ(S700)とを含む、プログラムを実行する。

Description
図1に、本実施の形態に係る始動制御装置を含む燃料供給システム10を示す。このエンジンは、V型8気筒のガソリンエンジンであって、各気筒の筒内に燃料を噴射する筒内噴射用インジェクタ110と、各気筒の吸気通路に燃料を噴射する吸気通路噴射用インジェクタ120とを有する。なお、本発明はこのようなエンジンに限定されて適用されるものではなく、他の形式のガソリンエンジンや、コモンレール式ディーゼルエンジンであってもよい。さらに、高圧燃料ポンプは2台に限定されない。
プレフィードが開始され、プレフィード時間Tの時間の間だけフィードポンプ100が作動する(S400)。
以下、本発明の第2の実施の形態について説明する。なお、本実施の形態に係る始動制御装置を含む燃料供給システム10については、上述した第1の実施の形態の図1〜図5に示した構造と同じ構造を有する。このため、これらについての詳細な説明は繰り返さない。
プレフィードが開始され、プレフィード時間Tの時間の間だけフィードポンプ100が作動する(S400)。このときに、検知された温度THWと燃圧Pとが領域(1)に属する場合、プレフィードが実行されない。このため、エンジン始動要求を検知すると(S100にてYES)、フィードポンプ100が作動されてクランキングが開示されてエンジンが始動される。なお、図9に示すフローチャートにおいては、S302においてプレフィード時間が0secと設定されても燃料配管における燃圧Pを検知して(S500)、その燃圧が燃圧しきい値P(TH)以上になると(S600にてYES)、クランキングを開始するようにしている。ただし、本発明は、このような処理に限定されないで、S302においてプレフィード時間が0secと設定された場合には直ちにS700の処理を行なうようにしてもよい。
Claims (4)
- 内燃機関の始動が要求されたときに、燃料温度を検知するための検知手段と、
前記内燃機関の燃焼室に燃料を送り込む燃料噴射弁から燃料を噴射して前記内燃機関を始動する前に、前記燃料配管を介して前記燃料噴射弁に燃料を供給する燃料ポンプを予め駆動するように、前記内燃機関を制御するための制御手段とを含み、
前記制御手段は、前記検知された燃料温度に基づいて、燃料配管内に前記内燃機関の始動性に影響するベーパが発生している度合いが大きいと判断されると、前記燃料ポンプを予め駆動するプレフィード時間が長くなるように制御するための手段を含む、内燃機関の始動制御装置。 - 前記制御手段は、前記燃料温度が高い第1の領域、前記燃料温度が低い第3の領域および前記第1の領域と前記第3の領域との間の第2の領域の3つの領域の中の前記第2の領域に、前記検知された燃料温度が属すると判断された場合に、前記内燃機関の始動性に影響するベーパが発生している度合いが大きいと判断して、前記プレフィード時間がより長くなるように制御するための手段を含む、請求項1に記載の内燃機関の始動制御装置。
- 内燃機関の始動が要求されたときに、燃料温度および燃料圧力を検知するための検知手段と、
前記内燃機関の燃焼室に燃料を送り込む燃料噴射弁から燃料を噴射して前記内燃機関を始動する前に、前記燃料配管を介して前記燃料噴射弁に燃料を供給する燃料ポンプを予め駆動するように、前記内燃機関を制御するための制御手段とを含み、
前記制御手段は、前記検知された燃料温度および燃料圧力に基づいて、燃料配管内に前記内燃機関の始動性に影響するベーパが発生している度合いが大きいと判断されると、前記燃料ポンプを予め駆動するプレフィード時間が長くなるように制御するための手段を含む、内燃機関の始動制御装置。 - 前記制御手段は、前記燃料温度が高い第1の領域、前記燃料温度が低い第3の領域および前記第1の領域と前記第3の領域との間の第2の領域の3つの領域の中の前記第2の領域であって燃料の飽和蒸気圧線よりも低圧側の領域に、前記検知された燃料温度および燃料圧力が属すると判断された場合に、前記内燃機関の始動性に影響するベーパが発生している度合いが大きいと判断して、前記プレフィード時間がより長くなるように制御するための手段を含む、請求項3に記載の内燃機関の始動制御装置。
