Abstract

Claims (4)
- 前輪と後輪との間にエンジンが搭載されており、該エンジンからの排気を導くエキゾーストパイプが該エンジンの前方に導出されている自動二輪車であって、
前記エンジンのクランクシャフトを含む動力伝達系統にトルクを付与する電動モータが、前記エンジンのシリンダ部の後方に配置されていることを特徴とする自動二輪車。 - 前記エンジンは、前記シリンダ部を形成するシリンダブロックと、該シリンダブロックの下部に配置されたクランクケースとを備え、
前記エキゾーストパイプは、前記シリンダブロックの前方から前記クランクケースの下方を経由して後方へと導かれており、
前記電動モータは、前記シリンダブロックの後方で前記クランクケースの上方に形成された空間に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の自動二輪車。 - ヘッドパイプから後方にフレームが延設されており、該フレームには略前後方向に延びるスイングアームの前部が枢支されていると共に、該スイングアームの後部に前記後輪が回転自在に軸支され、
前記電動モータは、前記スイングアームと前記フレームとの接続箇所よりも前方に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の自動二輪車。 - 前記エンジンを始動する際に前記クランクシャフトにトルクを付与するスタータモータと、
該スタータモータに電力を供給する第1給電部と、
前記電動モータに電力を供給し且つ該第1給電部よりも電圧が高い第2給電部と、を備え、
前記第2給電部からの電力を前記第1給電部に充電可能な構成であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の自動二輪車。
