Abstract
【解決手段】JIS P 8123に準拠した白色度が75%以上、JIS P 8118に準拠した密度が0.50g/cm3以下、かつ褪色性が6以下であることを特徴とする、印刷用紙。

Description
本発明の印刷用紙は、前記したように、JIS P 8123に準拠した白色度が75%以上、JIS P 8118に準拠した密度が0.50g/cm3以下、かつ褪色性が6以下のものである。
表1に示す割合で広葉樹クラフトパルプ(LBKP)、機械パルプ(PGW)及び針葉樹クラフトパルプ(NBKP)を配合し、原料パルプスラリーを調製した。このパルプスラリーに、パルプ固形分100質量部に対してクレー1質量部を添加した後、長網型抄紙機を使用し、ゲートロールコーターにて表面サイズ剤として酸化澱粉を固形分で0.1g/m2塗工して抄紙を行い、印刷用紙を得た。
JIS P 8123に記載の「紙及びパルプのハンター白色度試験方法」に準拠して測定した。
JIS P 8118に記載の「厚さ及び密度の試験方法」に準拠して測定した。
フェードメーター(商品名:耐光試験機FAL−5、紫外線ロングライフフェードメーター、スガ試験機(株)製)にて夏季約1ヵ月分の日光照射に相当する10時間処理を行った。この処理前後の白色度をJIS P 8148に記載の「紙、板紙及びパルプ−ISO白色度試験方法」に準拠して測定し、処理前後における印刷用紙最表面のISO白色度の差を算出した。なお算出した数値が小さく、0に近いほど褪色性に優れる。
サイズテスター(商品名:EST、Emtec社製)を用い、紙片(75mm×50mm)を両面テープでフォルダーに固定し、このフォルダーを、水350mlを満たした試験容器内に設けられた、超音波の発信素子と受信素子との間に沈めた。紙片と水とが接触してから0.025秒後に測定を開始し、サイズテスターのモニターに表示された動的吸水性試験値と経過時間とのグラフから、動的吸水性試験値が50%に到達するまでの所要時間(表2中、「ESTサイズ度」と示す)を読みとった。なお、測定用の超音波周波数は2MHzであった。
JIS P 8124に記載の「坪量測定方法」に準拠して測定した。
JIS P 8118に記載の「厚さ及び密度の試験方法」に準拠して測定した。
JIS P 8135に記載の「紙及び板紙−湿潤引張強さ試験方法」に準拠して測定した。
JIS P 8149に記載の「紙及び板紙−不透明度試験方法(紙の裏当て)」に準拠して測定した。
JIS P 8143に記載の「紙のクラークこわさ試験機によるこわさ試験方法」に準拠して測定した。
RI印刷試験機(石川島産業機械(株)製)を用い、オフセット印刷用墨インキ(商品名:TKハイエコー墨、東洋インキ(株)製)1.0gを展色して印刷した。印刷開始5分後にコート紙を印刷面に一定圧力で接着し、コート紙へのインク転移状況を調べ、以下の評価基準に基づいて評価した。
(評価基準)
◎:セットが非常に早く、オフセット枚葉印刷の高速印刷にも対応することができ、裏移 りの問題がないレベル。
○:セットが早く、裏移りの問題がないレベル。
△:標準的なレベル。
×:セットが遅く、オフセット印刷としては使用不可能なレベル。
オフセットカラー印刷機(型番:LITHRONE44、(株)小森コーポレーション製)を使用し、連続5000部の藍、赤、黄、墨4色カラー印刷を行った。その後ブランケット非画線部での紙粉の堆積状態を目視にて観察し、以下の評価基準に基づいて評価した。
(評価基準)
◎:紙粉が認められない。
○:紙粉がやや認められるが、実操業上問題がない。
△:紙粉が認められ、実操業上問題がある。
×:ブランケット上に紙粉が多く堆積している。
Claims (4)
- JIS P 8123に準拠した白色度が75%以上、JIS P 8118に準拠した密度が0.50g/cm3以下、かつ褪色性が6以下であることを特徴とする、印刷用紙。
- 動的吸水性試験における、動的吸水性試験値が50%に到達するまでの所要時間が0.30秒以上である、請求項1に記載の印刷用紙。
- JIS P 8220に準拠した離解後の原料パルプの、JIS P 8121に準拠したカナディアンスタンダードフリーネスが340ml以上であり、該離解後の原料パルプにおける、JIS P 8120に準拠した染色法による機械パルプの割合が25〜50質量%である、請求項1又は2に記載の印刷用紙。
- 離解後の原料パルプにおける、JIS P 8120に準拠した染色法による広葉樹クラフトパルプの割合が50〜75質量%である、請求項1、2又は3に記載の印刷用紙。
