Abstract
【解決手段】本発明の黒鉛球状化剤は、珪素、マグネシウム、カルシウム、及び希土類元素を含有する黒鉛球状化剤であって、黒鉛球状化剤全体に対して、希土類元素を0.6〜3.0質量%、及びカルシウムを1.3〜4.0質量%含み、且つ希土類元素中に占めるランタンの割合が50質量%以上である。

Description
珪素(Si)46質量%、マグネシウム(Mg)5質量%、カルシウム(Ca)2.2質量%、希土類元素(RE)0.6質量%、アルミニウム(Al)0.3質量%、及び残部として鉄(Fe)等を含む黒鉛球状化剤を製造した。なお、実施例1の黒鉛球状化剤においては、希土類元素(RE)に占めるランタン(La)の質量割合が100質量%である。表1に黒鉛球状化剤の配合処方を示す。
黒鉛球状化剤全体に対する希土類元素の配合割合を1.8質量%にし、実施例2においては希土類元素に占めるランタン(La)の質量割合を50質量%、実施例3においては、希土類元素に占めるランタン(La)の質量割合を70質量%、実施例4においては、希土類元素に占めるランタン(La)の質量割合を90質量%にした以外は、実施例1と同様の配合処方の黒鉛球状化剤を製造し、得られた黒鉛球状化剤を用いて、実施例1と同様の方法にして丸ブロック及びIブロックを鋳造し、引張り強さ(N/mm2)、耐力(N/mm2)、及び伸び(%)を測定した。測定結果を表3及び表4に示す。
黒鉛球状化剤全体に対する希土類元素の配合割合を1.8質量%にし、希土類元素に占めるランタン(La)の質量割合を30質量%にした以外は、実施例1と同様の配合処方の黒鉛球状化剤を製造し、得られた黒鉛球状化剤を用いて、実施例1と同様の方法にして丸ブロック及びIブロックを鋳造し、引張り強さ(N/mm2)、耐力(N/mm2)、伸び(%)、及びチル長さを測定した。測定結果を表3〜表5に示す。
比較例2においては、黒鉛球状化剤全体に対するカルシウムの配合割合を0.4質量%とし、比較例3においては、黒鉛球状化剤全体に対するカルシウムの配合割合を1.2質量%とした以外は、実施例1と同様の配合処方の黒鉛球状化剤を製造し、得られた黒鉛球状化剤を用いて、実施例1と同様の方法にして丸ブロック及びIブロックを鋳造し、引張り強さ(N/mm2)、耐力(N/mm2)、伸び(%)、及びチル長さを測定した。測定結果を表3〜表5に示す。
Claims (8)
- 珪素、マグネシウム、カルシウム、及び希土類元素を含有する黒鉛球状化剤であって、
前記黒鉛球状化剤全体に対して、希土類元素を0.6〜3.0質量%、及びカルシウムを1.3〜4.0質量%含み、且つ前記希土類元素中に占めるランタンの割合が50質量%以上である黒鉛球状化剤。 - 前記黒鉛球状化剤全体に対して、前記マグネシウムを3.0〜8.0質量%含む請求項1に記載の黒鉛球状化剤。
- 前記黒鉛球状化剤全体に対して、前記珪素を40〜70質量%含む請求項1又は2に記載の黒鉛球状化剤。
- 前記黒鉛球状化剤全体に対して、アルミニウムの含有割合が1.5質量%以下である請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の黒鉛球状化剤。
- 前記希土類元素中に占めるランタンの割合が70質量%以上である請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の黒鉛球状化剤。
- 前記希土類元素中に占めるセリウムの割合が30質量%以下である請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の黒鉛球状化剤。
- 前記黒鉛球状化剤が、粉体又は塊状である請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の黒鉛球状化剤。
- 置注ぎ法に用いられる請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載の黒鉛球状化剤。
