Abstract
【解決手段】燃料ポンプ11とコモンレール20とインジェクタ23とを有するコモンレール式燃料噴射システムにおいて、インジェクタ23は、コモンレール20から供給される高圧燃料をエンジンに噴射するとともに高圧燃料の一部をリークさせる。ECU50は、燃料タンク10内の燃料残量に基づいてインジェクタ23におけるリーク燃料の熱量を制限する。この場合特に、コモンレール20内の燃料圧力の目標値を減圧側に変更し、該変更した目標値により前記燃料圧力の制限を実施する。

Claims (10)
- 噴射圧に相当する高圧の燃料を蓄える蓄圧容器と、燃料タンク内の燃料を高圧化して前記蓄圧容器に圧送する燃料供給ポンプと、前記蓄圧容器から供給される高圧燃料をエンジンに噴射するとともに前記高圧燃料の一部をリークさせる燃料噴射弁とを備え、前記燃料噴射弁からリークした燃料を前記燃料タンクに返戻させるようにした蓄圧式燃料システムに適用され、
前記燃料タンク内の燃料残量を検出する残量検出手段と、
前記残量検出手段により検出した燃料残量に基づいて前記燃料噴射弁におけるリーク燃料の熱量を制限する熱量制限手段と、
を備えたことを特徴とする蓄圧式燃料システムの制御装置。 - 前記燃料噴射弁の燃料リーク時に生じる実リーク熱量を推定する実リーク熱量推定手段と、
前記残量検出手段により検出した燃料残量に基づいて、その都度許容されるリーク燃料熱量を算出する許容熱量算出手段とを備え、
前記熱量制限手段は、前記実リーク熱量推定手段により推定した実リーク熱量が、前記許容熱量算出手段により算出した許容熱量よりも大きい場合に、前記燃料噴射弁におけるリーク燃料の熱量の制限を実施することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の蓄圧式燃料システムの制御装置。 - 前記リーク時熱量推定手段は、前記蓄圧容器内における都度の燃料圧力と燃料温度とに基づいて前記リーク時熱量を推定することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の蓄圧式燃料システムの制御装置。
- 前記熱量制限手段は、前記蓄圧容器内の燃料圧力の目標値を減圧側に変更し、該変更した目標値により前記燃料圧力を制限することを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の蓄圧式燃料システムの制御装置。
- エンジン運転状態に基づいて前記蓄圧容器内の燃料圧力の目標値を設定する目標値設定手段を備えた制御装置において、
前記熱量制限手段は、前記目標値設定手段により設定した燃料圧力の目標値を減圧側に補正することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の蓄圧式燃料システムの制御装置。 - 前記燃料圧力の目標値を減圧側に変更する変更量を、前記燃料タンク内の燃料残量又は燃料温度に応じて可変設定することを特徴とする請求項4又は5に記載の蓄圧式燃料システムの制御装置。
- 前記熱量制限手段は、前記燃料タンク内の燃料残量又はそれに相関するパラメータに基づいて前記蓄圧容器内の燃料圧力の目標値を設定し、該目標値により前記燃料圧力を制限することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の蓄圧式燃料システムの制御装置。
- 前記蓄圧容器内の燃料圧力に対する制限を実施する際、前記燃料噴射弁による燃料噴射期間を延長側に変更することを特徴とする請求項4乃至7のいずれかに記載の蓄圧式燃料システムの制御装置。
- ドライバによるアクセル操作量を検出する手段と、
前記検出したアクセル操作量が所定値以上の場合、又は同アクセル操作量の増加側の変化量が所定値以上の場合に、前記燃料圧力の制限を禁止する手段と、
を備えたことを特徴とする請求項4乃至8のいずれかに記載の蓄圧式燃料システムの制御装置。 - 前記蓄圧容器内の燃料圧力に対する制限を実施する際、前記エンジンに駆動連結された補機類の作動状態を制限することを特徴とする請求項4乃至9のいずれかに記載の蓄圧式燃料システムの制御装置。
