Abstract
【解決手段】電池モジュール10は、単位電池12が収容され、この単位電池12のための冷却媒体が流通する流通路23、24を有するハウジング20を含み、前記ハウジング20は、前記単位電池12が位置する単位電池収容部25及び、前記流通路23、24を形成し前記単位電池収容部25に連通する流通部23、24を含む。前記ハウジング20の長さ方向に対して垂直な方向を基準に、前記単位電池収容部25の内部空間の断面積が前記流通部23、24の内部空間の断面積より大きく形成される。

Claims (15)
- 単位電池が収容され、この単位電池のための冷却媒体が流通する流通路を有するハウジングを含み、
前記ハウジングは、
前記単位電池が位置する単位電池収容部;及び
前記流通路を形成し、前記単位電池収容部に連通する流通部;
を含み、
前記ハウジングの長さ方向に対して垂直な方向を基準に、前記単位電池収容部の内部空間の断面積が、前記流通部の内部空間の断面積より大きいことを特徴とする電池モジュール。 - 前記流通路が、前記単位電池に提供される冷却媒体が流れる流入通路であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記単位電池収容部と前記流通部との連結部位に対する内面形状が、段差を有する形状からなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記単位電池収容部の内側コーナー部が、ある角度に曲がって形成されたことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記内側コーナー部が、直角に曲がって形成されたことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記単位電池収容部と前記流通部との断面外形が四角形からなることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記単位電池収容部と前記流通部との段差の量は、前記単位電池収容部の断面高さに対して13〜23%に設定されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記単位電池が複数備えられて電池集合体を形成し、前記電池集合体が前記ハウジングの長さ方向に沿って前記単位電池収容部内に配置され、前記流通路は前記ハウジングの長さ方向に沿って前記単位電池収容部に連結されたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記電池集合体は一対備えられ、任意の間隔をおいて前記ハウジングの幅方向に対向配置されたことを特徴とする請求項8に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記電池集合体が前記ハウジング内部の同一平面上に配置されることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記電池集合体は、前記単位電池の間に配置された隔壁を含むことを特徴とする請求項8に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記流通路は、前記電池集合体に提供される前記冷却媒体が流れる流入通路と、前記電池集合体を通過した前記冷却媒体が流れる排出通路とを含むことを特徴とする請求項8に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記ハウジングは前記単位電池収容部を複数備え、この単位電池収容部の相互間に前記流入通路を配置することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記単位電池が複数に備えられて電池集合体を形成し、この電池集合体が前記単位電池収容部に複数に備えられることを特徴とする請求項13に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記単位電池が20乃至80個備えられて形成されたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
