Claims (3)
- 基台上に実装された少なくとも一つのＬＥＤチップと、これらのＬＥＤチップを包囲するように配置され且つ上記ＬＥＤチップからの光により蛍光を発生させる粒子状の蛍光体が混入された蛍光体層と、を含んでいて、上記ＬＥＤチップからの光と蛍光体からの蛍光の混色光を外部に出射するようにしたＬＥＤ光源であって、
上記基台上にて上記蛍光体層内に配置されている温度検出素子を含んでおり、
上記温度検出素子により、上記蛍光体層の温度を検出することを特徴とする、ＬＥＤ光源。 - 上記ＬＥＤチップと温度検出素子が、上記基台表面に形成された二系統の配線パターンを介して、それぞれ互いに異なる駆動電流で駆動されることを特徴とする、請求項１に記載のＬＥＤ光源。
- 上記温度検出素子が、上記ＬＥＤチップと比較して小型で、温度特性が既知である第二のＬＥＤチップであって、
上記第二のＬＥＤチップに対して微小電流を供給することにより、その電圧値の変化に基づいて、温度を検出することを特徴とする、請求項１または２に記載のＬＥＤ光源。
