融点50℃のワックス状シクロポリシロキサン(WCP)は、50重量%のC26及びC28オレフィン並びに50%のα−メチルスチレンから構成されるオレフィン混合物を、テトラメチルシクロテトラシロキサン(環状SiH化合物)と反応させることにより調製した。ワックス状シクロポリシロキサンは、芳香物質化合物であるベンズアルデヒド、酢酸ベンジル又はシネオールと重量比1:1で混和性であった。ワックス状シクロポリシロキサンを融解させて、等重量のシネオールとブレンドした。続いて、重量損失評価のために、ブレンドを35℃でオーブン中に入れた。
融点66℃のワックス状シクロポリシロキサン(WCP2)は、主にC26及びC28オレフィンから構成されるオレフィン混合物を、テトラメチルシクロテトラシロキサンと反応させることにより調製した。ワックス状シクロポリシロキサン20gを融解させて、シネオール5gとブレンドした。続いて、重量損失評価のために、ブレンドを35℃でオーブン中に入れ、その結果を表2に示す。
シネオール8g、実施例2で調製したワックス状シクロポリシロキサン32g、メタクリルアミドプロピルトリメチルアンモニウムクロリド基を含有する商標「Merquat 2001N」で販売されている陽イオン性ポリマー25g、Arquad16−29陽イオン性界面活性剤13.5g及びNaCl 6.0gを反応器に秤量し、70℃に加熱した。混合物を溶融したら、水50gを用いて混合物を乳化及び希釈して、溶解したNaCl及び「Merquat 2001N」由来の高いイオン強度を有する水性連続相中にシネオール及びワックス状シクロポリシロキサンのブレンドの分散相を有するエマルジョンを生産した。
実施例2のワックス状シクロポリシロキサンそれぞれ16g及び24gを溶解して、ベンズアルデヒド4gとブレンドした。
ベンズアルデヒド5gを、実施例2のワックス状シクロポリシロキサン10g及び商標「Dow Corning DC556」で販売されている液体フェニル(トリメチルシロキシ)シラン10gとブレンドした。
シリコーンワックス16gを溶解して、ベンズアルデヒド4g及びDC556液体シリコーン8gとブレンドした。
主にテトラ(2−フェニルプロピル)テトラメチルシクロテトラシロキサンから構成される液体シリコーンは、α−メチルスチレンをテトラメチルシクロテトラシロキサンと反応させることにより調製した。実施例2のワックス状シクロポリシロキサン10gを融解させて、ベンズアルデヒド5g及び上述の調製した液体シリコーン10gとブレンドした。
サンケア組成物は、従来の混合技法を利用して以下の構成成分を組み合わせることにより調製した。

ハンド及びボディーローションは、以下の構成成分を組み合わせることにより調製した。
実施例11で使用するワックスの代わりに、アリール置換基及びアルキル置換基を含有するワックス状シクロポリシロキサンを用いて、実施例11のプロセスを繰り返した。ビタミンの放出は、ワックス状シクロポリシロキサンにより制御された。
日焼け防止剤組成物を有する顔用保湿剤は、以下の構成成分を組み合わせることにより調製した。
シリコーンワックスは、オレフィン混合物(C26〜C45アルキル鎖長)をテトラメチルシクロテトラシロキサンと反応させて、環状ポリ(メチルアルキルシロキサン)ワックスを形成することにより調製した。
増粘溶液62.6g、Volpo S2 6g、Volpo S20 5g、塩化ナトリウム18.6g、Arquad16−29 34.5g及び実施例14の環状ポリ(メチルアルキルシロキサン)ワックス84.5gを攪拌反応器中に入れて、80℃に加熱した。次に、高揮発性の香料ミックス11.08gを添加した。20分後、加熱を停止した。増粘溶液41g、続いて脱塩水137gを最終的に添加して、重量比1:7.6の香料とワックスのブレンドのエマルジョンを形成した。
増粘溶液59.5g、エステルクォート陽イオン性界面活性剤(Tetranyl L1/90(商標))30g、Arquad16−29 33g、並びに実施例14の環状ポリ(メチルアルキルシロキサン)ワックス64gを攪拌反応器中に入れて、80℃に加熱して、水中油型エマルジョンを形成した。次に、高揮発性の香料ミックス15.8gをエマルジョンに添加した。20分後、加熱を停止した。増粘溶液37.5g、続いて脱塩水129gを最終的に添加した。生成物は、重量比1:4の香料とワックスのブレンドのエマルジョンであった。
シリコーンワックスは、オレフィン混合物(C26〜C45アルキル鎖長)をテトラメチルシクロテトラシロキサンと反応させて、環状ポリ(メチルアルキルシロキサン)ワックスを形成することにより調製した。
Claims (10)
- 洗浄用組成物、パーソナルケア製品、家庭用ケア製品又は織物処理組成物からの芳香物質、日焼け防止剤、ビタミン、薬物、殺生剤、害虫駆除剤、触媒及び冷却剤から選択される活性物質の放出を、該洗浄用組成物、パーソナルケア製品、家庭用ケア製品又は織物処理組成物に該活性物質を添加する前に、該活性物質及びワックス状シリコーン材料をブレンドすることにより制御する方法であって、
前記ワックス状シリコーン材料が、融点10〜200℃を有すること、
前記ワックス状シリコーン材料が、シクロポリシロキサンを含むこと(ここで、該シクロポリシロキサン中のケイ素原子の少なくとも20パーセントが、炭素数16〜100を有するアルキル置換基を有する)、及び
前記シクロポリシロキサンのケイ素原子の10〜80パーセントが、式X−Ph(式中、Xは、炭素原子によりケイ素に結合された二価脂肪族有機基を示し、Phは、芳香族基を示す)を有するケイ素結合された置換基を有すること
を特徴とする方法。 - 前記シクロポリシロキサン中のケイ素原子の50〜80パーセントが、炭素数16〜100を有するアルキル置換基を有し、前記シクロポリシロキサンのケイ素原子の20〜50パーセントが、式X−Phを有するケイ素結合された置換基を有する、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 活性物質及びワックス状シリコーン物質のブレンドを含む、洗浄用組成物、パーソナルケア製品、家庭用ケア製品又は織物処理組成物からの芳香物質、日焼け防止剤、ビタミン、薬物、殺生剤、害虫駆除剤、触媒及び冷却剤から選択される活性物質の放出を制御するための組成物であって、
前記活性物質及びワックス状シリコーン物質のブレンドが、微粒状形態又はエマルジョン形態であること、
前記ワックス状シリコーン物質が、融点10〜200℃を有すること、
前記ワックス状シリコーン物質が、シクロポリシロキサンを含むこと(ここで、該シクロポリシロキサン中のケイ素原子の少なくとも20パーセントが、炭素数16〜100を有するアルキル置換基を有する)、及び
前記シクロポリシロキサンのケイ素原子の10〜80パーセントが、式X−Ph(式中、Xは、炭素原子によりケイ素に結合された二価脂肪族有機基を示し、Phは、芳香族基を示す)を有するケイ素結合された置換基を有すること
を特徴とする組成物。 - 前記シクロポリシロキサン中のケイ素原子の50〜80パーセントが、炭素数16〜100を有するアルキル置換基を有し、前記シクロポリシロキサンのケイ素原子の20〜50パーセントが、式X−Phを有するケイ素結合された置換基を有する、請求項19に記載の組成物。
- 活性物質及びワックス状シクロポリシロキサンのブレンドが、水中油型エマルジョンの分散相として存在することを特徴とする、請求項19に記載の組成物。
- 前記水中油型エマルジョンの乳化用界面活性剤が、第四級アンモニウム分子中に少なくとも1つのエステル連結基を含有する第四級アンモニウム物質を含む陽イオン性界面活性剤を含むことを特徴とする、請求項19に記載の組成物。
- 活性物質及びワックス状シリコーン物質のブレンドを含む、洗浄用組成物、パーソナルケア製品、家庭用ケア製品又は織物処理組成物からの芳香物質、日焼け防止剤、ビタミン、薬物、殺生剤、害虫駆除剤、触媒及び冷却剤から選択される活性物質の放出を制御するための組成物であって、
前記活性物質及びワックス状シリコーン物質のブレンドが、エマルジョン形態であること、
前記ワックス状シリコーン物質が、融点10〜200℃を有すること、
前記ワックス状シリコーン物質が、シクロポリシロキサンを含むこと(ここで、該シクロポリシロキサン中のケイ素原子の少なくとも20パーセントが、炭素数16〜100を有するアルキル置換基を有する)、
前記シクロポリシロキサンのケイ素原子の10〜80パーセントが、式X−Ph(式中、Xは、炭素原子によりケイ素に結合された二価脂肪族有機基を示し、Phは、芳香族基を示す)を有するケイ素結合された置換基を有すること、及び
前記エマルジョンの乳化用界面活性剤が、第四級アンモニウム分子中に少なくとも1つのエステル連結基を含有する第四級アンモニウム物質であること
を特徴とする組成物。 - 前記シクロポリシロキサン中のケイ素原子の50〜80パーセントが、炭素数16〜100を有するアルキル置換基を有し、前記シクロポリシロキサンのケイ素原子の20〜50パーセントが、式X−Phを有するケイ素結合された置換基を有する、請求項23に記載の組成物。
- 融点10〜200℃を有するワックスを含むシクロポリシロキサンであって、
前記シクロポリシロキサンワックス中のケイ素原子の少なくとも20パーセントが、炭素数16〜100を含有するアルキル置換基を有し、
前記シクロポリシロキサンワックスのケイ素原子の10〜80パーセントが、式X−Ph(式中、Xは、炭素原子によりケイ素に結合された二価脂肪族有機基を示し、Phは、芳香族基を示す)を有するケイ素結合された置換基を有する
シクロポリシロキサン。 - 前記シクロポリシロキサンワックス中のケイ素原子の50〜80パーセントが、炭素数16〜100を有するアルキル置換基を有し、前記シクロポリシロキサンワックスのケイ素原子の20〜50パーセントが、式X−Phを有するケイ素結合された置換基を有する、請求項25に記載のシクロポリキサン。
