Abstract
Description
本発明は、ディーゼルエンジンのような内燃機関の排気ダクト(管)内に設置される粒子フィルタの再生用の加熱装置の再生方法であって、粒子フィルタによって生じる排気ガス背圧が、粒子フィルタの煤堆積状態を示す指標として決定されるような調節方法に関する。
粒子フィルタの煤堆積状態を指標にする内燃機関、特にディーゼルエンジンの排気ダクト内に設置される粒子フィルタの再生用の加熱装置の稼動化(energization)を調節する本方法においては、好ましくは内燃機関がアイドリング中に、排気ガス再循環を停止し、粒子フィルタの上流の排気ダクトが所定の状態にある間に排気ガス背圧を決定し、次いで排気ガス背圧信号値を粒子フィルタの再生の開始に充分な煤堆積を示すしきい値と比較し、排気ガス背圧信号がしきい値よりも大きい場合に加熱装置を利用可能な状態にして再生手順を開始する。
図1に示す方法では、エンジンの各アイドリング動作段階において、排気ガス背圧SIST を計測することにより粒子フィルタの煤堆積状態を決定する。粒子フィルタに至る排気ダクト内に、本質的に定常の排気ガス背圧状態が現存することを確実にするため、上記配置においてアイドリング動作状態が5秒間安定した後に、排気ガス背圧SIST を計測する。エンジンがアイドリング速度に到達すると、排気ガス再循環AGRが停止する。次に、排気ガス背圧を計測するため、十分な定常状態が確立されるまで待つ。基本的に、所定の時間の経過後に排気ガス背圧の計測が可能である。
Claims (15)
- ディーゼルエンジンのような内燃機関の排気ダクト内に設置される粒子フィルタの再生用の加熱装置の稼動化を調節する方法であって、粒子フィルタの煤堆積状態の目安として排気ガス背圧を決定し、排気ガス背圧(SIST)は、
・エンジンがアイドリング中であること;
・排気ガス再循環が停止していること;及び
・粒子フィルタの上流の排気ダクトに一定の条件が存在すること
という条件が満たされたときに計測し、
続いて、該排気ガス背圧信号(SIST)を、粒子フィルタの再生を開始するのに充分な煤堆積を示すしきい値(SW) と比較し、排気ガス背圧信号(SIST)がしきい値(SW) よりも大きい場合、再生手順を開始するために加熱装置を利用可能な状態にする方法。 - 加熱装置を利用可能な状態にすることにより再生手順を開始した後、瞬間的な排気ガス背圧信号(SIST)と、少なくとも1つの直前の排気ガス背圧信号とがしきい値(SW)よりも大きい場合にのみ加熱装置を稼働する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 内燃機関の負荷状態を決定し、所定の時間(tx) にわたって煤が自動的にバーンオフされた結果、粒子フィルタが自動的に再生されるような負荷状態(TLSR) を決定し、開始信号を生成するカウンタをリセットする、請求項1の方法。
- 決定された排気ガス背圧信号と比較されるしきい値(SW)は、カウンタリセットに続くアイドリング段階で計測された排気ガス背圧信号に調整する、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 所定の動作期間以内にアイドリング段階が生じない場合、以前の利用可能化とは無関係に、再生手順の開始のために加熱装置を稼動する、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 動作期間内に、内燃機関動作時間の少なくとも1つ、及び走行距離を評価する、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 一つの動作段階内で、各動作状態における粒子フィルタの煤堆積量に関する瞬間的な内燃機関速度に基づいて粒子フィルタに供給される排気ガスの温度を繰り返し決定及び評価し、評価の結果を合算し、粒子フィルタの煤堆積状態がフィルタの再生に適する状態であることを示す所定の限界値と合算値を比較し、合算値が限界値を超過した場合、加熱装置を利用可能な状態にして再生を開始し、続く再生手順の後に新たな動作段階を開始する、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 少なくとも2つの動作段階を有する内燃機関の排気ダクト内に設置される粒子フィルタの再生用の加熱装置の調節方法であって、1つの動作段階内で、粒子フィルタの上流の排気ガスの温度を瞬間的な内燃機関速度に基づいて繰り返し決定し、この動作状態において生じる粒子フィルタの煤堆積量に関する瞬間内燃機関速度に基づいて排気ガスのこの温度を評価し、評価の結果を合算し、粒子フィルタの煤堆積状態を示し且つ該粒子フィルタは再生の準備ができていることを示す所定の限界値と合算値を比較し、合算値が限界値を超過した場合、加熱装置を利用可能な状態にして再生手順を開始し、再生手順の後に新たな動作段階を開始する方法。
- 排気ガス温度及び内燃機関速度を所定の時間にわたって決定し、この時間にわたって決定された温度及び内燃機関速度の平均値を求め、平均値をその後更に行われる評価に用いる、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 加熱装置を利用可能な状態にして再生手順を開始した後、内燃機関の動作状態が粒子フィルタの再生表面積が最大になるような状態であるとき、加熱装置を稼動する、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 粒子フィルタの再生に有利な内燃機関の動作状態を決定するため、粒子フィルタに供給される排気ガスの温度を決定し、所与の内燃機関動作状態における再生成功の確率に関してそれを評価する、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 加熱装置を利用可能な状態にするときと稼動するときの間の時間を制限し、制限時間の経過後、内燃機関の動作状態とは無関係に加熱装置を稼動する、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 煤のバーンオフに期待される品質に対する要件を、制限時間の終了に近づくにつれて緩和する、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 加熱装置が、電熱式加熱装置、特に放射式加熱装置である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 加熱装置が、電熱式加熱装置、特に放射式加熱装置である、請求項8に記載の方法。
