Abstract
本発明の目的は、上で述べた本物の金の代わりの製品の欠点を有しない、金色光沢の非常に明るい金属効果顔料を開発することである。
【解決手段】
本発明は、非常に金色光沢の金属効果顔料に関する。この顔料は、銅ベースの合金と別な金属合金成分(好ましくはアルミニウム)を有し、真空で析出した金属薄膜を剥がし、粉砕することにより製造される。
Description
ライボルトヘレウス(Leybold Heraeus)によって販売されたロールコーターでは、剥離剤でコーティングされた48μmのPETキャリア薄膜は、高真空の下で銅/アルミニウム合金でコーティングされる。剥離剤はアセトン可溶のメチルメタクリレート樹脂で構成され、先に別個の処理ステップでプリントされる。真空は5×10−4mbarに調節される。
例1で述べたセットアップでは、銅−アルミニウム−ケイ素薄膜が析出する。これは例1と同様に実行されるが、銅/アルミニウムのための蒸発源に加えて、ケイ素のための別な蒸発源が取り付けられるという違いがある。蒸発のために利用される銅/アルミニウム合金は94%の銅を含む。気相から沈殿する薄膜の厚みは45nmに設定される。薄膜の剥離と薄膜破片の顔料のサイズへの粉砕は例1のように行われる。
上で作られたイソプロパノールの12%の顔料懸濁液1000gが沸点まで加熱され、11gのテトラエトキシシランと10gの水が加えられる。その後、pHが8に達するまで、Dosimatを用いて10%の水溶液DMEAが加えられる。pHを維持する一方で、混合物は2時間撹拌される。次いで、12gのイソプロパノールに溶けた1.4gのジフェニルジメトキシシランが4時間にわたって一様に与えられ、撹拌される。その後、0.5gの3−アミノプロピルトリメトキシシラン(Dynasilan AMMO)が加えられ、混合物は10時間冷却され、撹拌される。
Claims (12)
- 銅に加えて少なくとも1つの別な金属合金成分を含み、かつ、金属薄膜をキャリアシートに蒸着し、キャリアシートから薄膜を剥がし、次に薄膜を粉砕することにより製造される、光沢のある銅ベースの金属フレーク。
- フレークが少なくとも51%の銅と1〜49%のアルミニウムを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の光沢のある銅ベースの金属フレーク。
- フレークが別な合金成分としてケイ素を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載の光沢のある銅ベースの金属フレーク。
- フレーク形状の効果顔料が面に平行な表面と、10〜100nm、好ましくは20〜60nmの厚みを有することを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の光沢のある銅ベースの金属フレーク。
- 顔料粒子の表面が防錆層でコーティングされていることを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の光沢のある銅ベースの金属フレーク。
- 防錆層が、酸化アルミニウム、酸化ケイ素、リン酸塩、リン酸、リン酸エステル、ホスフィン酸、シラン、又は有機的に変更したケイ酸塩、チタン酸塩、ジルコン酸塩又はメタアクリル酸塩ベースのポリマー層、又はこれら化合物の組み合わせを含むことを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の光沢のある銅ベースの金属フレーク。
- (a)オプションとして剥離剤をキャリアシートに塗布すること、
(b)金属薄膜を剥離剤又はキャリアシートに塗布すること、
(c)金属薄膜を剥がすこと、
(d)顔料粒子に粉砕すること
の各プロセスステップを有することを特徴とする、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の光沢のある銅ベースの金属フレークを製造するための方法。 - 金属薄膜の塗布が合金成分の蒸発によって行われることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 金属薄膜の塗布が合金成分の別個の蒸発によって行われることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 金属薄膜の塗布が、合金と1つ又は複数の別な成分の別個の蒸発によって行われることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 金属薄膜の塗布が、電子ビーム、抵抗加熱又は放射加熱によって行われることを特徴とする、請求項7〜10のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 金属薄膜の塗布が、フラッシュ蒸発、同時蒸発又はジャンピングビーム蒸発によって行われることを特徴とする、請求項7〜11のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
