Claims (31)
- a)第1軸心を有する第1ローラと第2軸心を有する第2ローラとを各対が有するという少なくとも一対のローラを備えたデバイス回動器であって、前記第1および第2軸心は相互に対して実質的に平行であり、前記第1および第2ローラは間隙により分離され、且つ、当該デバイス回動器は転動可能デバイスを支持すると共に支持された所定位置において該転動可能デバイスを転動させ得るというデバイス回動器と、
b)制御されたパターンにて塗付材料の噴霧を生成し得る噴霧ノズルであって、該噴霧ノズルは、その噴霧が前記間隙に向けて導向される如く且つ前記噴霧の大部分は転動可能デバイスが前記一対のローラ上に無いときには前記間隙を通過され得る如く作用的に配置されるという噴霧ノズルと
を有する、転動可能デバイスの表面に対して塗付を行う装置。 - 前記第1ローラ、前記第2ローラまたは前記第1および第2ローラの両方は複数のリブを備える、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記リブは、ローラ軸心の近位に対しては広幅であり且つ該ローラ軸心の遠位に対しては狭幅である形状を有する、請求項2に記載の装置。
- 前記噴霧ノズルは、前記第1軸心もしくは前記第2軸心のいずれかに対して90°未満かつ5°より大きい角度である、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記少なくとも一対のローラは、トレイ上に取付けられる、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記トレイは、移動可能である、請求項5に記載の装置。
- 前記デバイス回動器は、ローラ駆動機構を有し、該ローラ駆動機構は、前記第1ローラ、前記第2ローラまたは前記第1および第2ローラの両方の末端部分に係合可能なシャフトを有する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記噴霧ノズルは、超音波処理部材を有する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記超音波処理部材は、気体流に対するチャネルを含み、且つ、前記噴霧パターンは、部分的に前記気体流により確立される、請求項8に記載の装置。
- 前記間隙は、0.1mm〜15mmの範囲内である、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記間隙は、0.1mm〜2.5mmの範囲内である、請求項10に記載の装置。
- 前記噴霧ノズルは先端を備え、該先端は前記間隙に対して最も近位である噴霧ノズルの部分であり、且つ、前記先端から前記間隙までの距離は1〜10mmの範囲内である、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記第一ローラおよび前記第二ローラは、5mm〜100mmの範囲の周長を有する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- a)デバイス回動器上に転動可能デバイスを載置する段階であって、前記デバイス回動器は、第1軸心を有する第1ローラと第2軸心を有する第2ローラとを有するという一対のローラを備え、前記第1および第2軸心は相互に対して実質的に平行であり、前記第1および第2軸心は間隙により分離され、前記デバイス回動器は前記デバイスを支持すると共に支持された所定位置において該デバイスを転動させることが可能であり、且つ、前記間隙は前記デバイスより広幅ではないという段階と、
b)前記転動可能デバイス上に塗付材料を配設する段階であって、噴霧ノズルから制御されたパターンにて塗付材料を噴霧する段階を有し、前記噴霧ノズルは、その噴霧が前記間隙に向けて導向される様に且つそのパターンが前記デバイスより広幅ではない様に作用的に配置されるという段階と、
c)前記第1または第2ローラの少なくとも一方を回動することで前記転動可能デバイスを回動させる段階と、
を有する、転動可能デバイスに対して塗付を行う方法。 - 前記第1軸心もしくは前記第2軸心のいずれかに平行な方向に前記噴霧ノズルを移動する段階を有する、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記配設段階および移動段階は、同時に実施される、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記転動可能デバイスを回動させる前記段階は、前記第1ローラ、前記第2ローラまたは前記第1および第2ローラの両方を割出す段階を有する、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記転動可能デバイスを回動させる前記段階は、前記第1ローラ、前記第2ローラまたは前記第1および第2ローラの両方をランダムに割出す段階を有する、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記回動段階は、塗付物が乾燥される前に実施される、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記噴霧ノズルは、超音波処理部材を有する、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記超音波処理部材は、気体流に対するチャネルを含み、且つ、前記噴霧パターンは、部分的に前記気体流により確立される、請求項20に記載の方法。
- 前記配設段階において前記塗付材料は、ポリマ性の、光励起可能な、生物学的にもしくは医薬的に活性な化合物、または、それらの組み合わせから成る、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記転動可能デバイスの回りの湿度、温度または両方を調整する段階を有する、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記調整段階は、少なくともひとつの段階a)、b)またはc)と同時に実施される、請求項23に記載の方法。
- 前記転動可能デバイスは、円筒形状を有すると共に直径が5cm以下である、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記転動可能デバイスは、医療デバイスの少なくとも一部分である、請求項25に記載の方法。
- 前記医療デバイスの前記少なくとも一部分は、カテーテルまたはステントである、請求項26に記載の方法。
- 前記噴霧ノズルは、前記間隙の上方に位置決めされる、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記噴霧ノズルは、前記間隙の上方に位置決めされる、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記載置する段階において、前記第1ローラ、前記第2ローラまたは前記第1および第2ローラの両方は複数のリブを備える、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記載置する段階において、前記リブは、ローラ軸心の近位に対しては広幅であり且つ該ローラ軸心の遠位に対しては狭幅である形状を有する、請求項30に記載の方法。
