Claims (10)
- 配線基板と、前記配線基板上に配置されている１つ以上のＬＥＤ素子と、前記配線基板上に前記ＬＥＤ素子に接触することなく前記ＬＥＤ素子を取り囲むように形成されている第１の樹脂体と、前記配線基板上の前記第１の樹脂体により囲われた領域上に前記ＬＥＤ素子を被覆するように形成されている第２の樹脂体と、を含み、
前記第２の樹脂体は、上に凸の第１の曲面と、横に凹の第２の曲面と、を有し、前記第１の曲面と前記第２の曲面との交線が前記ＬＥＤ素子を取り囲むように形成されている
含むＬＥＤ装置。 - 前記第２の樹脂体は、前記ＬＥＤ素子の発光により励起され、前記ＬＥＤ素子の発光と異なるピーク波長を有する蛍光を発する１つ以上の蛍光体をさらに被覆している請求項１に記載のＬＥＤ装置。
- 前記第１の樹脂体は、前記第２の樹脂体より光透過率が低いことを特徴とする請求項１または請求項２に記載のＬＥＤ装置。
- 前記第１の樹脂体は、前記第２の樹脂体より屈折率が高いことを特徴とする請求項１または請求項２に記載のＬＥＤ装置。
- 前記第１の樹脂体および前記第２の樹脂体の外縁形状は、円形状、楕円形状または多角形状である請求項１または請求項２に記載のＬＥＤ装置。
- 前記第１の樹脂体を形成する樹脂は、前記第２の樹脂体を形成する樹脂より分子量が大きい同種類の樹脂である請求項１または請求項２に記載のＬＥＤ装置。
- 配線基板上に１つ以上のＬＥＤ素子を配置する工程と、前記配線基板上に前記ＬＥＤ素子に接触することなく前記ＬＥＤ素子を取り囲むように第１の樹脂体を形成する工程と、前記配線基板上の前記第１の樹脂体に取り囲まれた領域上に前記ＬＥＤ素子を被覆するように第２の樹脂をポッティングすることにより第２の樹脂体を形成する工程とを含むＬＥＤ装置の製造方法。
- さらに、前記第１の樹脂体を除去する工程を含む請求項７記載のＬＥＤ装置の製造方法。
- 前記第１の樹脂体を形成する第１の樹脂として、前記第２の樹脂体を形成する前記第２の樹脂よりチクソ性が高い樹脂を用いることを特徴とする請求項７または請求項８に記載のＬＥＤ装置の製造方法。
- 前記第１の樹脂体を形成する第１の樹脂として、前記第２の樹脂体を形成する前記第２の樹脂より粘度が高い樹脂を用いることを特徴とする請求項７または請求項８に記載のＬＥＤ装置の製造方法。
