Abstract
【解決手段】本発明は、組成物全重量に基づいて20〜80重量%のポリフェニレンオキシドもしくはポリフェニレンエーテルなどの非晶質樹脂と、3〜40重量%のポリアミド及びポリオレフィンからなる群から選択される1種以上の結晶質樹脂と、組成物全重量に基づいて1〜50重量%のガラス繊維もしくは無機充填剤とから本質的になる複合樹脂組成物。

Description
本発明の組成物における非晶質成分は、組成物全体の20〜80重量%の量で存在する。非晶質材料は、ポリフェニレンオキシド、ポリエーテルスルホン、ポリスルホン、ポリエーテルイミド及びこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される。一実施形態では、非晶質成分は40〜70重量%の量で存在する。別の実施形態では、45〜65重量%の量で存在する。
本発明者らは、収縮率の制御に十分な量の結晶質樹脂を添加することによって、本発明の組成物から成形した部品の収縮率を0.10%超に制御できることを発見した。一実施形態では、結晶質成分は3〜30重量%である。別の実施形態では、5〜25重量%の範囲である。第三の実施形態では、5〜22重量%である。第四の実施形態では、10〜20重量%である。結晶質成分はポリアミド、ポリオレフィン又はこれらの混合物から選択される。一実施形態では、結晶質成分はナイロン6である。別の実施形態では、結晶質成分が15〜22重量%のナイロン66である。
本組成物はさらに2〜20重量%の導電性成分、例えば炭素質充填材料を含有する。一実施形態では、導電性炭素成分の量は3〜10重量%である。炭素質充填材料を10重量部を超えて使用すると、組成物の溶融粘度が増加するため、ICトレイの加工・成形が困難になることがある。
以上のものに加えて、本組成物はさらに熱硬化性樹脂及び充填剤成分を含んでいてもよい。充填剤は1〜50重量%の量で存在し得る。一実施形態では、充填剤は5〜30重量%のマイカである。
本樹脂組成物は、諸成分及び他の任意成分を均一に混合し、得られた混合物を、例えば単軸又は多軸押出機で加工するという慣用の連続製造法で製造できる。
Claims (9)
- ポリフェニレンオキシド、ポリエーテルスルホン、ポリスルホン、ポリエーテルイミド及びこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される非晶質樹脂20〜80重量%と、
ポリアミド、高分子量ポリオレフィン及びこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される結晶質樹脂3〜30重量%と、
充填剤1〜50重量%と
から本質的になる熱可塑性樹脂組成物。 - 物品に成形したときの収縮率が0.10%超である、請求項1記載の組成物。
- 前記非晶質樹脂がポリフェニレンオキシド又はポリエーテルスルホンである、請求項1又は請求項2記載の組成物。
- 前記結晶質樹脂がポリアミドである、請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれか1項記載の組成物。
- 前記結晶質樹脂の量が20重量%未満で、前記非晶質樹脂の量が45〜65重量%である、請求項1乃至請求項4のいずれか1項記載の組成物。
- さらにポリスチレン、ポリカーボネート又はこれらの混合物を1〜40重量%含有する、請求項1乃至請求項5のいずれか1項記載の組成物。
- 前記充填剤が、単層カーボンナノチューブ、多層カーボンナノチューブ、気相成長炭素繊維、カーボンブラック、グラファイト、膨張グラファイト粉末、フッ素化炭素及びこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される導電性炭素質充填材料である、請求項1乃至請求項6のいずれか1項記載の組成物。
- 請求項1乃至請求項7のいずれか1項記載の組成物を含有する物品。
- 成形品の収縮率0.10%超の物品の成形方法であって、
(a)ポリフェニレンオキシド、ポリエーテルスルホン、ポリスルホン、ポリエーテルイミド及びこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される非晶質樹脂45〜65重量%と、ポリアミド、ポリオレフィン及びこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される結晶質樹脂3〜30重量%と、ポリスチレン、ポリカーボネート又はこれらの混合物1〜40重量%と、炭素質充填材料1〜50重量%とから本質的になる組成物をブレンドする工程、及び
(b)組成物を射出成形して物品を成形する工程
を含んでなる方法。
