Abstract
【解決手段】 自動二輪車のフロントフォーク10において、車輪側チューブ12の下部に補助タンク72を連結し、補助タンク72の内部に補助油室B2と、該補助油室B2と隔壁部材73で区画される補助気体室C2を設け、油溜室B1と補助油室B2を連通する連通路75を設け、ブレーキ作動に連動して該連通路75を閉じる開閉弁76を設け、連通路75をバイパスし、油溜室B1と補助油室B2を連通するバイパス通路78を設け、開閉弁76が閉じた状態で、気体室C1が所定の圧力に達したときに該バイパス通路78を開くブロー弁79を設けたもの。

Description
(1)油溜室と補助油室との連通路にオリフィスを設けるものであるから、ブレーキ作動されていない、フロントフォークの通常圧縮時にも、このオリフィスが減衰力を発生してしまい、クッション性を損なう。
(a)ブレーキ作動されていない、フロントフォークの通常圧縮時には、気体室が圧縮され、油溜室の作動油が連通路を通って補助油室にスムーズに流れ、補助気体室を収縮させる。ここで、フロントフォーク全体の圧縮荷重は、気体室及び補助気体室の圧縮反力と、懸架スプリングの圧縮反力との合成荷重になり、気体室及び補助気体室の圧縮反力はそれらの全気体室が大容積をなす分だけ低目になり、クッション性を確保する。
(e)ダンパシリンダの下端側の外周に設けられるボトムシリンダの内部に、ダンパシリンダの内部の油室と連通する体積補償室を設け、ボトムシリンダの内面を摺動するフリーピストンにより体積補償室を油溜室に対して区画する。従って、ダンパシリンダの内部の油室への空気の巻き込みを回避し、フロントフォークの伸縮の応答性を向上する。

Claims (2)
- 車体側チューブと車輪側チューブを摺動自在に挿入し、
車体側チューブと車輪側チューブの内部に、油溜室と、該油溜室の上部の気体室を設けた自動二輪車のフロントフォークにおいて、
車輪側チューブの下部に補助タンクを連結し、補助タンクの内部に補助油室と、該補助油室と隔壁部材で区画される補助気体室を設け、
前記油溜室と補助油室を連通する連通路を設け、ブレーキ作動に連動して該連通路を閉じる開閉弁を設け、
前記連通路をバイパスし、前記油溜室と補助油室を連通するバイパス通路を設け、前記開閉弁が閉じた状態で、前記気体室が所定の圧力に達したときに該バイパス通路を開くブロー弁を設けたことを特徴とする自動二輪車のフロントフォーク。 - 前記車輪側チューブにダンパシリンダを取付け、該ダンパシリンダ内を摺動するピストンを設けたピストンロッドを前記車体側チューブに取付け、
該ダンパシリンダの下端側の外周に設けられるボトムシリンダを車輪側チューブに取付け、該ボトムシリンダの内部に、該ダンパシリンダの内部の油室と連通する体積補償室を設け、ボトムシリンダの内面を摺動するフリーピストンにより体積補償室を前記油溜室に対して区画する請求項1に記載の自動二輪車のフロントフォーク。
