15〜25%、好ましくは18〜22%の1または2種以上の式Iの化合物、
5〜15%、好ましくは6〜10%の1または2種以上の式IIの化合物、
1〜10%、好ましくは2〜5%の1または2種以上の式IIIの化合物、
1〜8%、好ましくは2〜4%の1または2種以上の式IVの化合物、
5〜15%、好ましくは8〜12%の1または2種以上の式Vの化合物、
20〜30%、好ましくは22〜27%の1または2種以上の式VIの化合物、
20〜30%、好ましくは24〜28%の1または2種以上の式VIIの化合物、および
3〜10%、好ましくは4〜8%の1または2種以上の式VIIIの化合物
を含有する液晶媒体に関する。
R1およびR5は、互いに独立してそれぞれ、メチル、エチル、n−プロピル、n−ブチル、n−ペンチルまたはn−ヘキシル、
R2は、メトキシ、エトキシ、n−プロポキシ、n−ブトキシまたはn−ペントキシ、
R3は、ビニールまたは1E−プロペニル、
R4は、ビニールまたは3−ブテニル
を表す。

3〜10%の1または2種以上の式VIIIの化合物
を含有する液晶組成物。
