Abstract
【解決手段】液晶表示装置及びその製造方法を提供する。液晶表示装置は下部基板を具備する。下部基板上に画素電極が位置する。下部基板上部に下部基板に対向する対向面を有する上部基板が位置する。上部基板の対向面上にホールを具備する対向電極が位置する。画素電極と対向電極間に液晶層が位置する。これで、ベンド転移時間及びベンド転移電圧を減少させることができる。

Claims (14)
- 下部基板と;
前記下部基板上に位置する画素電極と;
前記下部基板上部に位置して前記下部基板に対向する対向面を有する上部基板と;
前記上部基板の対向面上に位置して、ホールを具備する対向電極と;
前記画素電極と前記対向電極との間に位置する液晶層とを含むことを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 前記ホールは前記画素電極と重なることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記画素電極下部に位置する補助キャパシター下部電極をさらに具備して、前記ホールは前記補助キャパシター下部電極と重なることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記一つの画素電極と重なるホールは複数個であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記画素電極上に位置する下部配向膜及び前記対向電極上に位置する上部配向膜をさらに含み、前記下部配向膜及び前記上部配向膜は同じ方向にラビングされたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記液晶層は誘電率異方性が陽であるネマティック液晶を具備することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 走査線とデータ線をさらに含んで、前記画素電極は前記走査線と前記データ線の交差地点に位置することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記下部基板下部に位置する赤色(R)、緑色(G)及び青色(B)のバックライトをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 下部基板上に画素電極を形成し、上部基板上にホールを具備する対向電極を形成し、
前記上部基板と前記下部基板を前記対向電極が前記下部基板に向くように合着し、前記上部基板と前記下部基板間に液晶を注入して液晶層を形成することを含むことを特徴とする液晶表示装置の製造方法。 - 前記ホールは前記画素電極と重なるように形成することを特徴とする請求項9に記載の液晶表示装置の製造方法。
- 前記画素電極を形成する前に、前記下部基板上に前記画素電極と重なる補助キャパシター下部電極をさらに形成して、前記ホールは前記補助キャパシター下部電極と重なるように形成することを特徴とする請求項10に記載の液晶表示装置の製造方法。
- 前記一つの画素電極と重なるホールは複数個形成することを特徴とする請求項10に記載の液晶表示装置の製造方法。
- 前記画素電極上に下部配向膜を形成した後、前記下部配向膜を一方向にラビングして、前記対向電極上に上部配向膜を形成した後、前記上部配向膜を前記下部配向膜のラビング方向と同一な方向にラビングすることをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項9に記載の液晶表示装置の製造方法。
- 前記液晶は誘電率異方性が陽であるネマティック液晶であることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の液晶表示装置の製造方法。
