Abstract
【解決手段】フォーカス調整後に内側鏡筒部2と外側鏡筒部5のネジ部3,4にレーザ光を照射することにより樹脂溶着させて固定するカメラモジュールにおいて、レーザ光を照射して前記内側鏡筒部2のネジ部3と前記外側鏡筒部5のネジ部4との合わせ目6を前記繰り出し量の方向に0.5mm以上3.0mm以下にわたって溶融して硬化8Aさせて溶着固定する。

図7(a)に示すように、外部から入射した像を撮像素子(図示せず)へ結像させるレンズ1は、内側鏡筒部2の内周部に保持されている。内側鏡筒部2の外周部にはネジ部3が形成されている。内側鏡筒部2は、内周部に内側鏡筒部2の前記ネジ部3に螺合するネジ部4を有する外側鏡筒部5に螺合させて保持されている。

この構成によると、前記ネジ部の周方向の複数個所にレーザ光を同時に照射することによって、レーザ溶着時の鏡筒部分の位置変化が少なくなり、精度の高い固定方法を得ることが可能となる。

加工条件を、図2に示すレーザ光7Aの照射形状が約0.47×0.15mm、約0.35×0.2mm、約0.28×0.25mmであること以外は、(実施の形態1)に示す内側鏡筒部2と外側鏡筒部5がともにポリカーボネイトより構成されているカメラモジュールに、同様にレーザ溶着を行った。何れの場合も、溶融固化部分8Aの溶け込みの深さはおよそ0.5mm以上で3.0mm以下となった。このときの回転方向のトルク強度は、5〜20N・cmの値が得られた。さらに詳しくは照射形状が約0.47×0.15mm、約0.35×0.2mm、約0.28×0.25mmの順でトルク強度が低くなる傾向であった。
(実施の形態2)
図3と図4は本発明のカメラモジュールの製造方法の(実施の形態2)を示す。
前記フォーカス調整をした後のレーザ光の照射の際には、レーザ光の照射形状は、約0.7×0.1mmのライン状の形状とした。このレーザ光7Aを、垂直軸に対して35°±5°の角度で外側鏡筒部5の斜め上方から、深さ1mm、幅2mmの前記レーザ光通過用開口部9a,9bを通過させて同時に照射し、内側鏡筒部2のネジ部3と外側鏡筒部5のネジ部5との合わせ目6の、周方向2個所を溶融して硬化させた。溶け込みの深さはおよそ0.5mm以上で3.0mm以下となった。
図5と図6は本発明のカメラモジュールの製造方法の(実施の形態3)を示す。
図5に示す3箇所のレーザ光通過用開口部9a,9b,9cの位置が、120°均等配置であること以外は(実施の形態2)と同様にレーザ光通過用開口部9a,9b,9cから3箇所同時にレーザ溶着を行った。このときの溶着強度は12〜20N・cmであった。
レーザ光を同時に照射せずに順序だてて照射すると、最初のレーザ光の照射で樹脂部分の凝固収縮が起こり、ネジ部の隙間の分だけレーザ光の照射部分の側に内側鏡筒部2が移動する。その後に別な照射位置にレーザ光を照射しても、内側鏡筒部2は最初のレーザ光の照射による樹脂溶着で固定されているため動かない。このように外側鏡筒部5に対して内側鏡筒部2が傾いた状態で固定されると、フォーカス位置が変化したりレンズが傾くことによる画像不良が発生する恐れがある。レーザ光を同時に照射することにより、上記不良の発生を抑制できる。また、溶着強度も隙間が全周方向に対して等間隔であるときが最も高い。

Claims (6)
- 内周部にレンズを有し外周部にネジ部が形成された内側鏡筒部を、内周部に内側鏡筒部の前記ネジ部に螺合するネジ部を有する外側鏡筒部に螺合させ、前記内側鏡筒部と前記外側鏡筒部のうちの一方に対する他方の繰り出し量を調整し、前記内側鏡筒部のネジ部と前記外側鏡筒部のネジ部との合わせ目にレーザ光を照射して前記内側鏡筒部のネジ部と前記外側鏡筒部のネジ部との合わせ目の少なくとも一方の面を前記繰り出し量の方向に0.5mm以上で3mm以下溶融させて硬化させる
