Abstract
新しい塞栓形成剤である生体吸収性ポリマー材料(BPM)をググリエルミ着脱自在コイル(GDC)に組み入れて、頭蓋内動脈瘤の血管内処置の長期間にわたる解剖学的結果を改善する。

Description
この発明の移植体は、ヒトを含む哺乳動物の種の身体管腔、例えば血管、卵管などの中に入れることができる。その移植コイルは、生体適合性でかつ生体吸収性のポリマーまたはタンパク質で製造される。体管内移植体を製造するために例証実施態様に使用されている生体吸収性ポリマーの例としては、限定されないが、ポリグリコール酸、ポリグリコール酸/ポリ−L−乳酸コポリマー類、ポリカプロラティブ、ポリヒドロキシブチレート/ヒドロキシバレレートコポリマー類、ポリ−L−ラクチド、ポリジオキサノン、ポリカーボネート類及びポリ酸無水物類がある。体管内移植体を製造するために例証実施様態に使用されている生体吸収性タンパク質の例としては、限定されないが、コラーゲン、フィブリノーゲン、フィブロネクチン、ビトロネクチン、ラミニン及びゼラチンがある。

ことを特徴とする装置。 - 請求項1に記載の装置において、
前記生体適合性でかつ生体吸収性のポリマーが、加速されたスカー形成によって動脈瘤の再開通を制止する
ことを特徴とする装置。 - 請求項1に記載の装置において、
前記生体適合性でかつ生体吸収性のポリマーが、器質化結合組織を誘発して、動脈瘤を満たしそして時間の経過とともにコラーゲン線維の成熟によって前記動脈瘤を収縮させて、動脈瘤の大きさを小さくしかつ脳実質又は脳神経に対する動脈瘤による圧迫を減らす
ことを特徴とする装置。 - 請求項1に記載の装置において、
前記生体適合性でかつ生体吸収性のポリマーが、金属コイルよりトロンボグン形成性が低く、その低いトンボゲン形成性によって動脈瘤の治癒を加速する
ことを特徴とする装置。 - 請求項1に記載の装置において、
前記生体適合性でかつ生体吸収性のポリマーが、グリコール酸/L−乳酸のモル比が90/10であるポリグリコール酸/ポリ−L−乳酸コポリマー類の混合物を含んでいる
ことを特徴とする装置。 - 請求項1に記載の装置において、
前記移植体がハイブリッド生理活性コイルである
ことを特徴とする装置。 - 請求項35に記載の装置において、
前記ハイブリッド生理活性コイルが、前記生体適合性でかつ生体吸収性のポリマーと不活性の生体適合性コイルとの複合体である
ことを特徴とする装置。 - 請求項36に記載の装置において、
前記不活性の生体適合性コイルが白金製コイルである
ことを特徴とする装置。 - 請求項36に記載の装置において、
前記生体適合性でかつ生体吸収性のポリマーと不活性の生体適合性コイルとの前記複合体が、前記不活性の生体適合性コイル上に前記生体適合性でかつ生体吸収性のポリマーの層を備えている
ことを特徴とする装置。 - 請求項36に記載の装置において、
前記生体適合性でかつ生体吸収性のポリマーと不活性の生体適合性コイルとの前記複合体が、前記不活性の生体適合性コイルに結合した前記生体適合性でかつ生体吸収性のポリマーの糸条を含んでいる
ことを特徴とする装置。
