Abstract
【解決手段】 イメージ情報を有する映像信号を受信し、前記イメージを区分する少なくとも一つの領域単位で前記映像信号を処理するディスプレイ装置において、前記映像信号から前記領域で前記イメージの動きがあるかどうかを検出する動き検出部と;現在フレームまでの前記動き検出部の検出結果に関する履歴情報を前記領域別に算出する履歴算出部と;前記履歴情報に基づいて前記映像信号のうちの前記領域の映像信号が動映像信号であるか停止映像信号であるかを検出する動映像検出部と;前記動映像検出部の検出結果に基づいて該当領域の映像信号を前記動映像信号を表現するための動映像階調群と前記停止映像信号を表現するための停止映像階調群のうちのいずれか一つに変換する階調変換部とを含む。

Claims (9)
- イメージ情報を有する映像信号を受信し、前記イメージを区分する少なくとも一つの領域単位で前記映像信号を処理するディスプレイ装置において、
前記映像信号から前記領域で前記イメージの動きがあるかどうかを検出する動き検出部と、
現在フレームまでの前記動き検出部の検出結果に関する履歴情報を前記領域別に算出する履歴算出部と、
前記履歴情報に基づいて前記映像信号のうちの前記領域の映像信号が動映像信号であるか停止映像信号であるかを検出する動映像検出部と、
前記動映像検出部の検出結果に基づいて該当領域の映像信号を前記動映像信号を表現するための動映像階調群と前記停止映像信号を表現するための停止映像階調群のうちのいずれか一つに変換する階調変換部とを含むことを特徴とするディスプレイ装置。 - 前記履歴算出部は所定の履歴変数に前記動き検出部の検出結果によって加重値を加減して前記履歴情報を算出し、
前記動映像検出部は前記履歴変数の大きさによって該当領域の映像信号が前記動映像信号であるか前記停止映像信号であるかを検出することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のディスプレイ装置。 - 前記動映像検出部は、
前記履歴変数の大きさが所定の動映像基準範囲に進入する時、動映像信号であると検出し、
前記履歴変数の大きさが前記動映像基準範囲と離隔した所定の停止映像基準範囲に進入する時、前記停止映像信号であると検出し、
前記履歴変数の大きさが前記動映像基準範囲と前記停止映像基準範囲の間に位置する時、直前フレームの検出結果を維持して出力することを特徴とする請求項2に記載のディスプレイ装置。 - 前記履歴変数は増減許容範囲を有することを特徴とする請求項2に記載のディスプレイ装置。
- 前記履歴変数は増減許容範囲を有することを特徴とする請求項3に記載のディスプレイ装置。
- 前記動映像検出部は前記動き検出部で前記領域の動きが少なくとも2つの連続されたフレームで検出される時に該当領域の映像信号を動映像信号であると検出することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のディスプレイ装置。
- 前記映像信号の各フレームが所定回数繰り返されるフィルムモードに入力されるかどうかを検出するフィルムモード検出部をさらに含み、
前記フィルムモード検出部の検出結果によって前記動映像検出部は前記履歴情報に基づく検出基準を変更することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のディスプレイ装置。 - 前記動き検出部は前記領域に属する所定個数のサンプル画素で前記イメージの動きがあるかどうかを検出し、
前記履歴算出部は前記サンプル画素別の前記動き検出部の検出結果に基づいて現在フレームまでの前記サンプル画素が属する領域の履歴情報を算出することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のディスプレイ装置。 - 前記動き検出部は前記領域に属する所定個数のサンプル画素で前記イメージの動きがあるかどうかを検出し、
前記履歴算出部は前記サンプル画素別の前記動き検出部の検出結果に基づいて現在フレームまでの前記サンプル画素が属する領域の履歴情報を算出することを特徴とする請求項2に記載のディスプレイ装置。
