Abstract
【解決手段】 本発明に係る金属系軸受は、第1の材料からなる軸受ハウジングと、上記軸受ハウジング内に保持される第2の材料からなるボールと、を備え、上記軸受ハウジングと上記ボールとの間の界面が二つの軸受表面を包含している金属系軸受であって、上記第1の材料及び上記第2の材料の一方は、上記軸受表面の一方を提供するために窒化チタンのコーティングが付着した表面近傍に拡散領域を有するチタン合金であることを特徴とする。

Claims (8)
- 第1の材料からなる軸受ハウジングと、前記軸受ハウジング内に保持される第2の材料からなるボールと、を備え、前記軸受ハウジングと前記ボールとの間の界面が二つの軸受表面を包含している金属系軸受であって、前記第1の材料及び前記第2の材料の一方は、前記軸受表面の一方を提供するために窒化チタンのコーティングが付着した表面近傍に拡散領域を有するチタン合金であることを特徴とする金属系軸受。
- 前記第1の材料及び前記第2の材料の他方は、銅合金であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の軸受。
- 前記第1の材料及び前記第2の材料の他方は、前記軸受表面に窒化チタンのコーティングを有するチタン合金であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の軸受。
- 前記コーティングは、物理蒸着法プロセスにより形成されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか一項に記載の軸受。
- 前記拡散領域は、チタン合金表面内における硬化した表面近傍を形成する窒化物拡散領域であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至4のいずれか一項に記載の軸受。
- 前記拡散及び物理蒸着法プロセスは、真空下において700℃で実施されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至5のいずれか一項に記載の軸受。
- 第1の材料からなる軸受ハウジングと、第2の材料からなるボールと、を備え、前記第1の材料及び前記第2の材料の一方はチタン合金である金属系軸受の製造方法であって、
前記チタン合金の外表面に拡散領域を生成することと、
物理蒸着法プロセスにより前記拡散領域にコーティングを付着させて軸受表面を形成することと、
を含むことを特徴とする金属系軸受の製造方法。 - 前記拡散領域は、窒化物拡散領域であることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の方法。
