Abstract
【解決手段】本発明は、建物内に布設された光ファイバケーブルを相互に接続する可動式光コネクタであって、光コネクタの接続端面23が、光ファイバ長手方向に対して回動する光コネクタ回動部25を具備することを特徴とするものである。

Description
図1(a)は本発明の実施形態例に係る可動式光コネクタを示す斜視図であり、図1(b)は同じく可動式光コネクタの回動状態を示す斜視図である。すなわち、図1(a)に示すように、戸建住宅、ビル構内などの建物内に布設された光ファイバケーブルを相互に接続する場合に用いられる可動式光コネクタであり、F04形単心光ファイバコネクタのSC形光コネクタをベースとしたもので、ハウジング21は、光ファイバケーブル22が接続されたハウジング後端部材211に、フェルールの接続端面23が取り付けられたハウジング先端部材212が回動軸24により回動自在にして光コネクタ回動部25が設けられる。前記フェルールの接続端面23には光ファイバケーブル22の光ファイバが接続され、このフェルールの接続端面23が、光ファイバ長手方向に対して上下方向に任意の角度に回動することができるように構成される。図1(b)は可動式光コネクタの接続端面23が光ファイバ長手方向に対して下方向に90°回動した状態を示す。なお、可動式光コネクタの接続端面23は光ファイバ長手方向に対して上下方向に任意の角度に回動した状態で設定(固定)可能に構成される。
Claims (6)
- 建物内に布設された光ファイバケーブルを相互に接続する可動式光コネクタであって、光コネクタの接続端面が、光ファイバ長手方向に対して回動する光コネクタ回動部を具備することを特徴とする可動式光コネクタ。
- 光コネクタ回動部が、光ファイバ長手方向に対して上下左右の任意な角度、方向で回動することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の可動式光コネクタ。
- 光コネクタの接続端面が、光ファイバ長手方向に対して光コネクタに内蔵される光ファイバの許容曲げ半径を超えない所定の角度で固定される機構を具備することを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の可動式光コネクタ。
- 光コネクタに内蔵される光ファイバとして、カットオフ長及びモードフィールド径値が小さい特定のファイバパラメータを有する光ファイバ、もしくはハイデルタ型光ファイバあるいはホーリー光ファイバなどの許容曲率半径の小さい光ファイバを用いることを特徴とする請求項1、2又は3に記載の可動式光コネクタ。
- 光コネクタに内蔵される光ファイバとして、SMF(シングルモードファイバ)、MMF(マルチモードファイバ)、POF(プラスチック光ファイバ)を用いることを特徴とする請求項1、2又は3に記載の可動式光コネクタ。
- 請求項1乃至5のいずれかに記載の可動式光コネクタを、建物に設けられた光アウトレットの幹線ケーブルと接続し、もしくは光アダプタを介して他の光コネクタと接続することにより、光ファイバケーブルを建物内に布設することを特徴とする光ファイバケーブル配線方法。
