Abstract
【解決手段】 エンジンECUは、EGR装置の故障モニタ条件が成立すると(S100にてYES)、VVT制御システムにおいて最遅角側に固定するステップ(S110)と、EGR装置を導入するステップ(S130)と、EGR装置の導入後予め定められた時間が経過すると(S140にてYES)、吸気管内圧力の実測値PMONを計測するステップ(S150)と、EGR装置の作動をカットするステップ(S160)と、EGR装置の作動のカットから予め定められた時間が経過すると(S170にてYES)、吸気管内圧力の実測値PMOFFを計測するステップ(S180)と、EGR装置の作動時における吸気管内圧力の実測値PMONからEGR装置の非作動時における吸気管内圧力の実測値PMOFFを減算した値が予め定められた判定値よりも大きいとEGR装置は正常であると判定するステップ(S200)とを含むプログラムを実行する。

Claims (10)
- 内燃機関に設けられ、排気ガスの一部を還流弁を介して再度前記内燃機関の吸気管に還流させる排気ガス還流装置の故障診断装置であって、
前記内燃機関の吸気管内を流れる空気の状態を検知するための検知手段と、
前記内燃機関の燃焼室内に取り込まれる吸気流量を変化させる吸気流量可変機構による制御を中止するための制御手段と、
前記吸気流量が変化する制御が中止された状態で前記検知手段により検知された空気の状態に基づいて、前記排気ガス還流装置の故障を診断するための診断手段とを含む、故障診断装置。 - 前記吸気流量可変機構は、可変動弁機構である、請求項1に記載の故障診断装置。
- 前記可変動弁機構は、クランク角に対し弁作動のタイミングが変更可能な機構である、請求項2に記載の故障診断装置。
- 前記可変動弁機構は、弁リフト量が変更可能な機構である、請求項2に記載の故障診断装置。
- 前記吸気流量可変機構は、吸気流量を制御するスロットルバルブである、請求項1に記載の故障診断装置。
- 前記吸気流量可変機構は、吸気流量を制御するアイドルスピードコントロールバルブである、請求項1に記載の故障診断装置。
- 前記吸気流量可変機構は、燃料蒸発ガスを前記吸気管に導入するコントロールバルブである、請求項1に記載の故障診断装置。
- 内燃機関に設けられ、排気ガスの一部を還流弁を介して再度前記内燃機関の吸気管に還流させる排気ガス還流装置の故障診断装置であって、
前記内燃機関の吸気管内を流れる空気の状態を検知するための検知手段と、
前記内燃機関の燃焼室への燃料噴射を制御する燃料噴射制御機構による制御を中止するための制御手段と、
前記燃料噴射制御機構による制御が中止された状態で前記検知手段により検知された空気の状態に基づいて、前記排気ガス還流装置の故障を診断するための診断手段とを含む、故障診断装置。 - 内燃機関に設けられ、排気ガスの一部を還流弁を介して再度前記内燃機関の吸気管に還流させる排気ガス還流装置の故障診断装置であって、
前記内燃機関の吸気管内を流れる空気の状態を検知するための検知手段と、
前記内燃機関の点火時期を制御する点火時期制御機構による制御を中止するための制御手段と、
前記点火時期制御機構による制御が中止された状態で前記検知手段により検知された空気の状態に基づいて、前記排気ガス還流装置の故障を診断するための診断手段とを含む、故障診断装置。 - 前記検知手段は、前記吸気管内の圧力または前記吸気管内の空気の流量を検知するための手段を含む、請求項1〜9のいずれかに記載の故障診断装置。
