Abstract
【解決手段】 S11では、機関始動要求に応じてスタータモータへの通電を開始して、内燃機関のクランキングを開始する。このクランキング開始から所定の遅延期間が経過すると、S12からS13へ進み、可変動弁モータへの通電を開始して、弁開閉特性をクランキングに適した状態に制御する。

Claims (7)
- 機関始動要求に応じてスタータモータへ通電して、内燃機関のクランキングを行うクランキング手段と、
電動式の可変動弁モータへ通電して可変動弁機構を作動させ、弁開閉特性を上記クランキングに適した状態へ制御する動弁始動制御手段と、
上記可変動弁モータへの通電開始時期を、上記スタータモータへの通電開始時期に対して、少なくとも所定の遅延期間だけ遅らせる遅延手段と、
を有する内燃機関の始動制御装置。 - 機関停止状態での吸気弁の閉時期が、吸気下死点よりも進角している請求項1に記載の内燃機関の始動制御装置。
- 上記遅延期間が、機関停止状態の弁開閉特性で吸気弁が閉時期から圧縮上死点に達するまでの期間に相当する固定値である請求項2に記載の内燃機関の始動制御装置。
- 機関停止状態でのクランク角を検出及び記憶する手段と、
この機関停止状態でのクランク角に応じて、上記遅延期間を調整する遅延期間調整手段と、
を有する請求項2に記載の内燃機関の始動制御装置。 - 上記遅延期間が、吸気弁の閉時期を最初に迎える気筒のピストン位置が圧縮上死点に達するまでの期間に相当する請求項4に記載の内燃機関の始動制御装置。
- 上記機関停止状態でのピストン位置が圧力増加領域である気筒が存在するかを判定する気筒判定手段を有し、上記圧力増加領域は、吸気弁閉時期から、吸気弁閉時期から吸気下死点までのクランク角だけ吸気下死点から進角した時期までの領域であり、
かつ、上記気筒判定手段により気筒が存在すると判定された場合、その気筒が圧縮上死点に達するまでの期間を上記遅延期間とし、上記気筒判定手段により気筒が存在しないと判定された場合、いずれかの気筒のピストン位置が圧縮上死点に達するまでの期間を上記遅延期間とする請求項4に記載の内燃機関の始動制御装置。 - 機関始動要求に応じてスタータモータへ通電し、内燃機関のクランキングを行うステップと、
電動式の可変動弁モータへ通電して可変動弁機構を作動させ、弁開閉特性をクランキングに適した状態へ制御するステップと、を有し、
かつ、上記スタータモータへの通電開始から上記可変動弁モータへの通電開始までの間に、少なくとも所定の遅延期間を設けた内燃機関の始動制御方法。
