Abstract

Claims (4)
- 電解質の両側に電極が設けられた電解質・電極構造体を、一対のセパレータにより挟持した単位セルを備え、前記単位セルが複数積層された積層体を箱状ケーシング内に収容する燃料電池スタックであって、
前記ケーシングは、前記積層体の積層方向両端部に配置される長方形状の端板と、
前記積層体の側部に配置され、前記端板の各辺に連結される側板と、
を備えるとともに、
積層方向に対する前記端板の各辺の撓み量が略同一になるように、少なくとも前記側板の断面積又は形状のいずれかを設定することを特徴とする料電池スタック。 - 電解質の両側に電極が設けられた電解質・電極構造体を、一対のセパレータにより挟持した単位セルを備え、前記単位セルが複数積層された積層体を箱状ケーシング内に収容する燃料電池スタックであって、
前記ケーシングは、前記積層体の積層方向両端部に配置される長方形状の端板と、
前記積層体の側部に配置され、前記端板の各辺に連結される側板と、
を備えるとともに、
前記端板は、積層方向に対する該端板の各辺の撓み量が略同一になるように、前記端板の長辺側の剛性と該端板の短辺側の剛性とを略同一に設定することを特徴とする燃料電池スタック。 - 請求項2記載の燃料電池スタックにおいて、前記端板は、厚さ方向の寸法を変更する肉厚部又は肉薄部を部分的に設けることにより、前記端板の長辺側の剛性と該端板の短辺側の剛性とを略同一に設定することを特徴とする燃料電池スタック。
- 請求項2又は3記載の燃料電池スタックにおいて、前記側板は、積層方向に直交する方向の断面積が略同一に設定されることを特徴とする燃料電池スタック。
