Abstract
【解決手段】 固体のシリカに酸化チタンを担持させた触媒を用いて脂肪族カルボン酸、脂肪族ジカルボン酸またはこれらのアルキルエステル(アルキル基の炭素数は1〜5)とアンモニアから脂肪族ニトリルを製造する方法、更にこの製法で得られる脂肪族ニトリルを、引き続き水素化触媒を用いて水素化を行い、脂肪族アミンを製造する方法、並びに固体のシリカであるシリカゲル又はシリカゾルにオキシ硫酸チタンを処理することによって得られる酸化チタンを担持した、脂肪族ニトリル製造用の触媒。

Description
1Lフラスコにオキシ硫酸チタン34.0g、シリカゾル水溶液270g(シリカとして3g)を加えて、撹拌しながら90℃まで加熱した。オキシ硫酸チタンが溶解したことを確認した後、その溶液(90℃)にアンモニア水を滴下して中和し、2時間撹拌した。得られた沈殿生成物は濾過、イオン交換水1Lで4回水洗してから110℃で一晩乾燥した。蛍光X線分析による組成分析、アンモニア昇温脱離測定及びBET法による比表面積測定を行い、表1に示す組成、酸量及び比表面積を持った触媒Aを得た。
シリカゾルの量、水洗濾過回数を変化させてS含量を変えた以外は調製例1と同様の操作を繰り返して表1に示す触媒BとCを得た。
調製例1で得た触媒を200℃又は300℃で3時間焼成して表1に示す触媒DとEを得た。
比較触媒として、シリカゾルを添加しない以外は調製例1と同様の操作を繰り返して触媒Fを得た。触媒Fの組成、酸量及び比表面積を表1に示す。また触媒の構成成分として珪素とチタンを含有するが、固体のシリカに酸化チタンが担持されていない触媒を得るために、特開平2000−80069号公報の実施例1に開示の手順で調製し、表1に示す組成、酸量及び比表面積を持った触媒Gを得た。
撹拌器、ガス導入管、温度計及び脱水装置を装備した四つ口フラスコに、触媒A1.0gとステアリン酸500gを混合し、反応温度300℃で1000ml/minのアンモニアガスを導入して反応させた。得られた反応生成物をガスクロマトグラフィー[ガスクロ装置:HEWLETT PACKARD Series 5890、カラム:J & W 製DB−5(内径×長さ:0.53mm×15m)]で組成分析してステアロニトリルの生成量を測定した。結果を表2に示す。
実施例1で触媒Aの代わりに本発明触媒B、C、D、E、又は比較触媒F、G、Hを用いて表2に示す反応条件以外は実施例1と同様に反応を行い、反応生成物を実施例1と同様に分析した。結果を表2に示す。尚、反応終了時間は、アンモニアガスを導入してから、上記のガスクロマトグラフィーの測定で脂肪族アミドの生成量が0になるまでの時間である。
実施例1でステアリン酸の代わりにラウリン酸を使用した以外は反応温度260℃で1350ml/minのアンモニアガスを8時間に亘って導入して反応させた以外は実施例1と同様に操作を行った。ガス・クロマトグラフィー法により求めたラウリロニトリルの生成量は94.5%であった。
実施例1でステアリン酸の代わりにステアリン酸メチルを使用した以外は実施例1と同様に操作を行った。ガス・クロマトグラフィー法により求めた、反応8時間後のステアロニトリルの生成量は98.7%であった。
実施例7で触媒Aの代わりに触媒Gを使用して同様の操作を行った。ガス・クロマトグラフィー法により求めた、反応8時間後のステアロニトリルの生成量は86.6%であった。
実施例1で得られた生成物を450g、水素化触媒としてラネーニッケル触媒を1.6g、48%NaOHを0.9g、イオン交換水を7.8g、オートクレーブに仕込んだ後、オートクレーブの空間部を水素置換し、水素圧1.9MPaに調整した後、135℃まで昇温し、この温度で3時間反応させた。生成物をガスクロマトグラフィー[ガスクロ装置:HEWLETT PACKARD、カラム:JHEWLETT PACKARD製ウルトラ−2(内径×長さ:0.53mm×15m)]で組成分析してステアリルアミンの生成量を測定した結果、98.2%の収率であった。
Claims (5)
- 固体のシリカに酸化チタンを担持させた触媒を用いて脂肪族カルボン酸、脂肪族ジカルボン酸またはこれらのアルキルエステル(アルキル基の炭素数は1〜5)とアンモニアから脂肪族ニトリルを製造する方法。
- 触媒の酸量が0.6〜4.0mmol/gである請求項1記載の脂肪族ニトリルを製造する方法。
- 触媒の比表面積が100〜500m2/gである請求項1又は2に記載の脂肪族ニトリルを製造する方法。
- 固体のシリカに酸化チタンを担持させた触媒を用いて脂肪族カルボン酸、脂肪族ジカルボン酸またはこれらのアルキルエステル(アルキル基の炭素数は1〜5)とアンモニアから脂肪族ニトリルを得、次いで、水素化触媒を用いて水素化を行う脂肪族アミンを製造する方法。
- シリカゲル又はシリカゾルにオキシ硫酸チタンを処理することによって得られる、脂肪族ニトリル製造用の触媒。
