Abstract
【解決手段】この非水電解質電池は、正極と、負極と、非水電解液とを備え、正極および負極の少なくともいずれか一方の集電体は、遷移金属元素と、3族、4族および5族のうちの少なくとも1つの元素とを含有する化合物(たとえば、TiN)を含む。

Description
[集電体(正極)の作製]
図1は、本発明の実施例1−1〜1−5による非水電解質電池に共通に用いる正極の集電体の作製に使用したスパッタリング装置を示した概略図である。まず、図1を参照して、実施例1−1〜1−5で用いたスパッタリング装置の構成について説明する。このスパッタリング装置は、真空容器1と、真空容器1内に回転可能に支持された水冷回転ドラム2と、水冷回転ドラム2と対向するように設置されたターゲット3と、ターゲット3に高周波電力を供給するための高周波電源4と、真空容器1内にArガスを導入するためのArガス導入バルブ5aと、真空容器1内にN2ガスを導入するためのN2ガス導入バルブ5bと、真空容器1の真空度を制御するための真空排気バルブ6とを備えている。
[集電体(正極)の作製]
Al箔を成形することによって、比較例1−1〜1−3による非水電解質電池に共通に用いる正極の集電体を作製した。
次に、上記のようにして作製した実施例1−1〜1−5および比較例1−1〜1−3による集電体と、電解液との組み合わせによる性能の違いを調べるために、以下のようなサイクリックボルタンメトリー測定を行った。
このサイクリックボルタンメトリー測定では、上記実施例1−1〜1−5および比較例1−1〜1−3により作製された集電体(正極)を作用極とするとともに、Li金属を成形したものを対極(負極)および参照極として用いた。
[集電体(正極)の作製]
この実施例2−1〜2−5では、上記実施例1−1〜1−5と同様のスパッタリング法を用いて、実施例2−1〜2−5による非水電解質電池に共通に用いる正極の集電体を作製した。ただし、実施例2−1〜2−5では、ポリイミドフィルムからなる基板7(図1参照)上に、以下の表2に示す条件下で、0.3μmの厚みを有するZrN膜を形成した。なお、ZrNは、本発明の「化合物」および「侵入型窒化物」の一例である。
この実施例2−1〜2−5では、上記実施例1−1〜1−5と同様のサイクリックボルタンメトリー測定を行った。すなわち、上記実施例2−1〜2−5により作製された集電体(正極)を作用極とするとともに、Li金属を成形したものを対極(負極)および参照極として用いた。
[集電体(正極)の作製]
この実施例3では、上記実施例1−1〜1−5と同様のスパッタリング法を用いて、実施例3による非水電解質電池に用いる正極の集電体を作製した。ただし、実施例3では、ポリイミドフィルムからなる基板7(図1参照)上に、以下の表3に示す条件下で、0.3μmの厚みを有するTaN膜を形成した。なお、TaNは、本発明の「化合物」および「侵入型窒化物」の一例である。
この実施例3では、上記実施例1−1〜1−5と同様のサイクリックボルタンメトリー測定を行った。すなわち、上記実施例3により作製された集電体(正極)を作用極とするとともに、Li金属を成形したものを対極(負極)および参照極として用いた。

Claims (10)
- 正極と、
負極と、
非水電解液とを備え、
前記正極および前記負極の少なくともいずれか一方の集電体が、遷移金属元素と、3族、4族および5族のうちの少なくとも1つの元素とを含有する化合物を含む、非水電解質電池。 - 前記化合物に含有される3族、4族および5族のうちの少なくとも1つの元素は、窒素であり、かつ、
前記化合物は、侵入型窒化物である、請求項1に記載の非水電解質電池。 - 前記化合物に含有される遷移金属元素は、チタンである、請求項1または2に記載の非水電解質電池。
- 前記非水電解液は、LiN(CF3SO2)2およびLiN(C2F5SO2)2のうちの少なくとも1つの溶質が溶解された非水電解液を含む、請求項3に記載の非水電解質電池。
- 前記化合物に含有される遷移金属元素は、ジルコニウムである、請求項1または2に記載の非水電解質電池。
- 前記非水電解液は、LiN(C2F5SO2)2、LiPF6およびLiBF4のうちの少なくとも1つの溶質が溶解された非水電解液を含む、請求項5に記載の非水電解質電池。
- 前記化合物に含有される遷移金属元素は、タンタルである、請求項1または2に記載の非水電解質電池。
- 前記非水電解液は、溶質としてのLiPF6が溶解された非水電解液を含む、請求項7に記載の非水電解質電池。
- 前記遷移金属元素と、前記3族、4族および5族のうちの少なくとも1つの元素とを含有する化合物は、膜状に形成されている、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の非水電解質電池。
- 前記遷移金属元素と、前記3族、4族および5族のうちの少なくとも1つの元素とを含有する化合物は、フィルム状の基板上に形成されている、請求項9に記載の非水電解質電池。
