Abstract
【解決手段】 デリバリーシステムは、第1のギャップ及び第2のギャップが形成されるように、細長いコア部材に沿って離間して配置される基端側円筒部材、中間円筒部材、及び先端側円筒部材を含む。拡張可能なステントは、ギャップと整合するアンカー部材を含み、中間円筒部材上に取り付けられ、アンカー部材がギャップ内に配置され、ステントがコア部材上に固定される。

Description
(1)前記中間円筒部材が、基端部及び先端部を備えた可撓性の円筒スリーブの形態であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の拡張可能なステント及びデリバリーシステム。
(2)前記可撓性の円筒スリーブが、リングの形態である補強部材を含み、前記補強部材が前記円筒スリーブの前記基端部及び前記先端部の変形を防止するべく、前記円筒スリーブの前記基端部及び前記先端部に配置されていることを特徴とする実施態様(1)に記載の拡張可能なステント及びデリバリーシステム。
(3)前記細長いコア部材が、その前記基端部分が血管内で押し進めることができるような直径を有し、かつその先端部分が、前記コア部材の前記基端部分の直径よりも小さい直径を有するように、テーパ状であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の拡張可能なステント及びデリバリーシステム。
(4)前記拡張可能なステントが、その前記基端部から基端側に延出した細長い突出部の形態である2つの基端脚を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の拡張可能なステント及びデリバリーシステム。
(5)前記拡張可能なステントが前記基端脚に取り付けられた2つのアンカー部材を含み、前記アンカー部材が、前記第1のギャップの前記長手方向の長さよりも短い長手方向の長さを有する延長部の形態であって、前記ステントの前記長手方向の軸に向かって内側に突き出ていることを特徴とする実施態様(4)に記載の拡張可能なステント及びデリバリーシステム。
(7)前記拡張可能なステントが、前記先端脚に取り付けられた2つのアンカー部材を含み、前記アンカー部材が、前記第2のギャップの前記長手方向の長さよりも短い長手方向の長さを有する延長部の形態であって、前記ステントの長手方向の軸に向かって内側に突き出ていることを特徴とする実施態様(6)に記載の拡張可能なステント及びデリバリーシステム。
(8)前記基端側円筒部材が可撓性のコイルの形態であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の拡張可能なステント及びデリバリーシステム。
(9)前記先端側円筒部材が可撓性のコイルの形態であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の拡張可能なステント及びデリバリーシステム。
(10)少なくとも1つの前記円筒部材が、基端部及び先端部を備えた可撓性の円筒スリーブの形態であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の拡張可能なステント及びデリバリーシステム。
(12)前記細長いコア部材が、その前記基端部分が血管内で押し進めることができるような直径を有し、かつその先端部分が、前記コア部材の前記基端部分の直径よりも小さい直径を有するように、テーパ状であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の拡張可能なステント及びデリバリーシステム。
(13)少なくとも1つの前記円筒部材が、基端部及び先端部を備えた可撓性の円筒スリーブの形態であることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の拡張可能なステント及びデリバリーシステム。
(14)少なくとも1つの前記可撓性の円筒スリーブが、リングの形態である補強部材を含み、前記補強部材が前記円筒スリーブの前記基端部及び前記先端部の変形を防止するべく、前記円筒スリーブの前記基端部及び前記先端部に配置されていることを特徴とする実施態様(13)に記載の拡張可能なステント及びデリバリーシステム。
(15)前記細長いコア部材が、その前記基端部分が血管内で押し進めることができるような直径を有し、かつその先端部分が、前記コア部材の前記基端部分の直径よりも小さい直径を有するように、テーパ状であることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の拡張可能なステント及びデリバリーシステム。

- 拡張可能なステント及びデリバリーシステムであって、細長いコア部材と、基端側円筒部材と、中間円筒部材と、先端側円筒部材と、拡張可能なステントと、留置用カテーテルとを含み、
前記細長いコア部材が、基端部分及び先端部分を有しており、
前記基端側円筒部材が、前記コア部材の前記先端部分の周りに配置されており、
前記中間円筒部材が、長手方向の長さを有する第1のギャップを形成するべく、前記基端側円筒部材から離間してその先端側において、前記コア部材の前記先端部分の周りに配置されており、
前記先端側円筒部材が、長手方向の長さを有する第2のギャップを形成するべく、前記中間円筒部材から離間してその先端側において、前記コア部材の先端部分の周りに配置されており、
前記拡張可能なステントが、基端部、先端部、及び長手方向の軸を有し、更に、その基端部から基端側に延びた細長い突出部の形態である少なくとも1つの基端脚と、その先端部から先端側に延びた細長い突出部の形態である少なくとも1つの先端脚とを含み、更に、前記第1のギャップの前記長手方向の長さよりも短い長手方向の長さを有する延長部の形態である、前記ステントの前記長手方向の軸に向かって内側に突き出た、前記基端脚に取り付けられた少なくとも1つのアンカー部材と、前記第2のギャップの前記長手方向の長さよりも短い長手方向の長さを有する延長部の形態である、前記ステントの前記長手方向の軸に向かって内側に突き出た、前記先端脚に取り付けられた少なくとも1つのアンカー部材とを含み、前記各アンカー部材が前記各ギャップに噛み合うように前記中間円筒部材に取り付けられて配置されており、
前記留置用カテーテルが、その中を通る内腔を有しており、前記中間円筒部材の周りに前記拡張可能なステントを圧縮して、前記アンカー部材が前記ギャップ内に維持され、前記ステントが前記コア部材に噛み合って固定されるように、前記コア部材の周りに配置されていることを特徴とする拡張可能なステント及びデリバリーシステム。 - 拡張可能なステント及びデリバリーシステムであって、細長いコア部材と、基端側円筒部材と、先端側円筒部材と、拡張可能なステントと、留置用カテーテルとを含み、
前記細長いコア部材が、基端部分及び先端部分を有しており、
前記基端側円筒部材が、前記コア部材の前記先端部分の周りに配置されており、
前記先端側円筒部材が、長手方向の長さを有するギャップを形成するべく、前記基端側円筒部材から離間してその先端側において、前記コア部材の前記先端部分の周りに配置されており、
前記拡張可能なステントが、長手方向の軸を有し、前記ギャップの前記長手方向の長さよりも短い長手方向の長さを有する延長部の形態である、前記ステントの前記長手方向の軸に向かって内側に突き出た、前記ステントに取り付けられたアンカー部材を含み、前記ステントが、前記アンカー部材が前記ギャップに噛み合うように少なくとも1つの前記円筒部材に取り付けられ配置されており、
前記留置用カテーテルが、その中を通る内腔を有しており、少なくとも1つの前記円筒部材の周りに前記拡張可能なステントを圧縮して、前記アンカー部材が前記ギャップ内に維持され、前記ステントが前記コア部材上に噛み合って固定されるように、前記コア部材の周りに配置されていることを特徴とする拡張可能なステント及びデリバリーシステム。 - 拡張可能なステント及びデリバリーシステムであって、細長いコア部材と、基端側円筒部材と、先端側円筒部材と、拡張可能なステントと、留置用カテーテルとを含み、
前記細長いコア部材が、基端部分及び先端部分を有しており、
前記基端側円筒部材が、前記コア部材の前記先端部分の周りに配置されており、
前記先端側円筒部材が、長手方向の長さを有するギャップを形成するべく、前記基端側円筒部材から離間してその先端側において、前記コア部材の前記先端部分の周りに配置されており、
前記拡張可能なステントが、長手方向の軸を有し、前記ギャップの前記長手方向の長さに概ね等しい長手方向の長さを有する延長部の形態である、前記ステントの前記長手方向の軸に向かって内側に突き出た、前記ステントに取り付けられたアンカー部材を含み、前記ステントが、前記アンカー部材が前記ギャップに噛み合うように少なくとも1つの円筒部材に取り付けられ配置されており、
前記留置用カテーテルが、その中を通る内腔を有しており、少なくとも1つの前記円筒部材の周りに前記拡張可能なステントを圧縮して、前記アンカー部材が前記ギャップ内に維持され、前記ステントが前記コア部材上に噛み合って固定されるように、前記コア部材の周りに配置されていることを特徴とする拡張可能なステント及びデリバリーシステム。 - 拡張可能なステント及びデリバリーシステムであって、細長いコア部材と、複数の円筒部材と、拡張可能なステントと、留置用カテーテルとを含み、
前記細長いコア部材が、基端部分及び先端部分を有しており、
前記複数の円筒部材が、長手方向の長さを有する複数のギャップを形成するべく、互いに離間して前記コア部材の前記先端部分の周りに配置されており、
前記拡張可能なステントが、長手方向の軸を有し、前記ギャップの前記長手方向の長さよりも短い長手方向の長さを有する延長部の形態である、前記ステントの前記長手方向の軸に向かって内側に突き出た、前記ステントに取り付けられた複数のアンカー部材を含み、前記ステントが、前記アンカー部材が前記ギャップに噛み合うように少なくとも1つの前記円筒部材に取り付けられ配置されており、
前記留置用カテーテルが、その中を通る内腔を有しており、少なくとも1つの前記円筒部材の周りに前記拡張可能なステントを圧縮して、前記アンカー部材が前記ギャップ内に維持され、前記ステントが前記コア部材上に噛み合って固定されるように、前記コア部材の周りに配置されていることを特徴とする拡張可能なステント及びデリバリーシステム。 - 血管の内腔を拡張するためにその血管内に拡張可能なステントを留置するための方法であって、
拡張可能なステント及びデリバリーシステムを用意するステップであって、前記拡張可能なステントが、前記デリバリーシステムのコア部材に沿って少なくとも1つの円筒部材に取り付けられ、前記コア部材に沿った少なくとも1つのギャップに噛み合う少なくとも1つのアンカー部材を有しており、前記ギャップが、前記コア部材に配置された複数の円筒部材の間の空間によって形成されており、前記デリバリーシステムが、前記ステントを収縮した構造に維持するようにそのステントの周りに配置された留置用カテーテルを含む、前記ステップと、
前記拡張可能なステント及びデリバリーシステムを血管内に挿入するステップと、
前記拡張可能なステントを前記血管内の狭窄領域に近接させるステップと、
前記留置用カテーテルを基端側に移動させて、前記ステントが前記血管内で拡張し始めることができるようにするステップと、
更に前記留置用カテーテルを基端側に移動させて、前記ステントを完全に留置して前記血管の内腔を拡張させるステップと、
前記デリバリーシステムを前記血管から抜去するステップとを含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 動脈瘤を治療するために血管内に拡張可能なステントを留置するための方法であって、
拡張可能なステント及びデリバリーシステムを用意するステップであって、前記拡張可能なステントが、前記デリバリーシステムのコア部材に沿って少なくとも1つの円筒部材に取り付けられ、前記コア部材に沿った少なくとも1つのギャップに噛み合う少なくとも1つのアンカー部材を有しており、前記ギャップが、前記コア部材に配置された複数の円筒部材の間の空間によって形成されており、前記デリバリーシステムが、前記ステントを収縮した構造に維持するようにそのステントの周りに配置された留置用カテーテルを含む、前記ステップと、
前記拡張可能なステント及びデリバリーシステムを血管内に挿入するステップと、
前記拡張可能なステントを動脈瘤に近接させるステップと、
前記留置用カテーテルを基端側に移動させて、前記ステントが前記血管内で拡張し始めることができるようにするステップと、
更に前記留置用カテーテルを基端側に移動させて、前記ステントを完全に留置して前記動脈瘤が前記ステントによって覆われるようにするステップと、
前記デリバリーシステムを前記血管から抜去するステップとを含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 血管内において拡張可能なステントをデリバリーシステム上に戻すための方法であって、
拡張可能なステント及びデリバリーシステムを用意するステップであって、前記拡張可能なステントが、前記デリバリーシステムのコア部材に沿って少なくとも1つの円筒部材に取り付けられ、前記コア部材に沿った少なくとも1つのギャップに噛み合う少なくとも1つのアンカー部材を有しており、前記ギャップが、前記コア部材に配置された複数の円筒部材の間の空間によって形成されており、前記デリバリーシステムが、前記ステントを収縮した構造に維持するようにそのステントの周りに配置された留置用カテーテルを含む、前記ステップと、
前記拡張可能なステント及びデリバリーシステムを血管内に挿入するステップと、
前記拡張可能なステントを前記血管内の狭窄領域に近接させるステップと、
前記留置用カテーテルを基端側に移動させて、前記ステントが前記血管内で拡張し始めることができるようにするステップと、
前記留置用カテーテルを先端側に移動させて、前記デリバリーシステムの前記円筒部材上に前記ステントを強制的に押し戻すステップと、
前記拡張可能なステント及びデリバリーシステムを再び配置するステップとを含むことを特徴とする方法。
