Abstract
【解決手段】本発明に係る有機ELディスプレイパネル及びその製造方法は、複数の第1電極11と複数の第2電極17とが交差する各位置に発光領域を有する有機ELディスプレイパネルにおいて、隣接する第2電極17の間に形成されてそれらの第2電極17同士を電気的に絶縁する電気絶縁隔壁14と、各発光領域の周辺に形成されて第2電極17の1つに電気的に接続された補助電極13とを含んで構成されることを特徴とする。

Claims (15)
- 複数の第1電極と複数の第2電極とが交差する各位置に発光領域を有する有機ELディスプレイパネルであって、
隣接する前記第2電極の間に形成されてそれらの第2電極同士を電気的に絶縁する電気絶縁隔壁と、
それぞれの前記発光領域の周辺に形成されて前記第2電極の1つに電気的に接続された補助電極と、
を含んで構成されることを特徴とする有機ELディスプレイパネル。 - 前記第2電極と前記補助電極とは、前記発光領域の縁の周辺で電気的に接続されることを特徴とする請求項1記載の有機ELディスプレイパネル。
- 前記補助電極は、前記第2電極の抵抗を低減することを特徴とする請求項1記載の有機ELディスプレイパネル。
- 前記補助電極は、Cr、Al、Au、W、Cu、Ni、Agから選択された材料により形成されることを特徴とする請求項1記載の有機ELディスプレイパネル。
- 前記補助電極は、絶縁層の上に形成されることを特徴とする請求項1記載の有機ELディスプレイパネル。
- 基板と、
前記基板上に形成された複数の第1電極と、
前記第1電極の側面に電気的に接続されて形成された第1補助電極と、
前記第1電極に直交する方向に形成された複数の第2電極と、
複数の前記第1電極と複数の前記第2電極とが交差する各位置に形成された有機発光層と、
前記有機発光層の周辺に形成されて前記第2電極に電気的に接続された第2補助電極と、
隣接する前記第2電極の間に形成されてそれらの第2電極同士を電気的に絶縁する電気絶縁隔壁と、
を含んで構成されることを特徴とする有機ELディスプレイパネル。 - 前記第2電極と前記第2補助電極とは、前記発光領域の縁の周辺で電気的に接続されることを特徴とする請求項6記載の有機ELディスプレイパネル。
- 前記第1、第2補助電極は、前記第1、第2電極の抵抗を低減することを特徴とする請求項6記載の有機ELディスプレイパネル。
- 前記第1、第2補助電極は、Cr、Al、Au、W、Cu、Ni、Agから選択された材料により形成されることを特徴とする請求項6記載の有機ELディスプレイパネル。
- 前記第2補助電極は、絶縁層の上に形成されることを特徴とする請求項6記載の有機ELディスプレイパネル。
- 複数の第1電極と複数の第2電極とが交差する各位置に発光領域を有する有機ELディスプレイパネルの製造方法であって、
透明基板上に所定の間隔を有する複数の第1電極を形成する工程と、
前記発光領域以外の領域に絶縁層を形成する工程と、
前記絶縁層上に第2補助電極を形成する工程と、
隣接する前記発光領域の間に前記第1電極に直交する方向に電気絶縁隔壁を形成する工程と、
シャドーマスクを用いて、それぞれの前記発光領域に有機発光層を形成する工程と、
前記有機発光層を含む全面に電極材料を蒸着して、前記第2補助電極に電気的に接続された複数の第2電極を形成する工程と、
前記第2電極を含む全面に保護膜を形成する工程と、
を含むことを特徴とする有機ELディスプレイパネルの製造方法。 - 前記複数の第1電極を形成する工程は、さらに、前記第1電極の側面に電気的に接続された第1補助電極を形成するステップを含むことを特徴とする請求項11記載の有機ELディスプレイパネルの製造方法。
- 前記第2補助電極は、前記発光領域の縁の周辺に突出部を有して形成され、それによって前記第2電極に電気的に接続されることを特徴とする請求項11記載の有機ELディスプレイパネルの製造方法。
- 前記第1、第2補助電極は、Cr、Al、Au、W、Cu、Ni、Agから選択された材料により形成されることを特徴とする請求項11記載の有機ELディスプレイパネルの製造方法。
- 前記電気絶縁隔壁を形成する工程は、
隣接する前記発光領域の間に前記第1電極に直交する方向にバッファ層を形成するステップと、
前記バッファ層上に電気絶縁隔壁を形成するステップと、
を含むことを特徴とする請求項11記載の有機ELディスプレイパネルの製造方法。
