Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.微生物バイオマスからの結晶性カロテノイド化合物の単離方法であって、 微生物細胞壁を破壊する工程、 微生物バイオマス、破壊細胞塊又はカロテノイド含有残さを、脂質除去に適 する溶剤で洗浄する事を含む、細胞細片をカロテノイド含有残さから分離する 工程、 得られたカロテノイド結晶を水中に懸濁して結晶を浮遊させる工程、 結晶を回収する工程、及び、 任意に、結晶を更に精製する工程、 を含む事を特徴とする方法。 2.カロテノイド含有残さが脂質除去に適する溶剤で洗浄される、請求項1に記 載の方法。 3.カロテノイド含有残さが、脂質除去の前に水で洗浄される、請求項2に記載 の方法。 4.脂質除去に適する溶剤が、低級アルコール又はアセトン、好ましくはエタノ ールである、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 5.水と混和しない溶剤が、細胞壁の破壊前、破壊中又は破壊後に添加される、 請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 6.前記水と混和しない溶剤が、細胞壁破壊後に破壊細胞塊に添加される、請求 項5に記載の方法。 7.前記水と混和しない溶剤が、油であり、好ましくは植物油である、請求項5 又は6に記載の方法。 8.結晶の浮遊が、懸濁液中でガスを泡立たせる事によって改善される、請求項 1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 9.結晶を浮遊させる為の水が、塩及び/又は油を更に含有する、請求項1〜8 のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 10.結晶を浮遊させる為の水が植物油を含有する、請求項9に記載の方法。 11.微生物バイオマスがブラケスレア・トリスポラ(Blakeslea trispora)由来 のものである、請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 12.カロテノイド化合物がβ−カロチンである、請求項1〜11のいずれか一項 に記載の方法。
