Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.それぞれがフロント表面とリア表面とを有する、フロントスペースド要素 及びリアスペースド要素とを含む、自動車用のエレクトロクロミック可変反射率 ミラーであって、当該フロント要素の当該リア表面がその上に配置された1層の 透明導電性材料を有し、当該リア要素の当該フロント表面が少なくとも1層の高 反射性銀合金を含む反射体/電極を有していて、その場合、当該フロントスペー スド要素及び当該リアスペースド要素は、間隔を空けた関係で一緒にシールによ って結合されて室が画定され、またその場合、当該室は、当該反射体/電極と接 触している少なくとも1種類の溶液相エレクトロクロミック材料を含み、またそ の場合、当該反射体/電極は、当該フロント要素と、当該の少なくとも1種類の エレクトロクロミック材料とを通過した後に、当該光が当該反射体/電極に達す るときに、当該媒体及び当該フロント要素を通過してくる光を反射するのに有効 である前記エレクトロクロミック可変反射率ミラー。 2.銀合金が、銀と、実質的に金、白金、ロジウム、及びパラジウムから成る 群より選択される元素との組合せである請求項1記載のミラー。 3.当該反射体/電極が、複数の層を含む請求項1記載のミラー。 4.当該反射体/電極が、当該高反射性合金の下に配置されたベース層を更に 含む請求項3記載のミラー。 5.当該ベース層が:クロム;クロム・モリブデン・ニッケル合金;ニッケル ・鉄・クロム合金;ステンレス鋼;及びチタンから実質的に成る群より選択され る材料を含む請求項4記載のミラー。 6.当該反射体/電極が、当該高反射性合金と当該ベース層との間に配置され た少なくとも1つの中間層を更に含み、当該中間層が:モリブデン;ロジウム; ステンレス鋼;及びチタンから実質的に成る群より選択される材料を含む請求項 5記載のミラー。 7.当該反射体/電極が、当該高反射性層上に配置された少なくとも1つのフ ラッシュオーバー層を更に含み、当該フラッシュオーバー層が:ロジウム、モリ ブデン、及び白金から実質的に成る群より選択される材料を含む請求項6記載の ミラー。 8.当該透明導電性材料層が、約0.1Ω/平方〜約40Ω/平方の面抵抗を 有する請求項1記載のミラー。 9.当該多層透明導電体の面抵抗が、約0.5Ω/平方〜約15Ω/平方であ る請求項12記載のミラー。 10.それぞれがフロント表面とリア表面とを有する、フロントスペースド要 素及びリアスペースド要素とを含む、自動車用のエレクトロクロミック可変反射 率ミラーであって、当該フロント要素の当該リア表面がその上に配置された1層 の透明導電性材料を有し、当該リア要素の当該フロント表面が少なくとも1層の 高反射性材料とフラッシュオーバーコート層とを含む反射体/電極を有していて 、その場合、当該フロントスペースド要素及び当該リアスペースド要素は、間隔 を空けた関係で一緒にシールによって結合されて室が画定され、またその場合、 当該室は、当該フラッシュ層と接触している少なくとも1種類の溶液相エレクト ロクロミック材料を含み、またその場合、当該反射体/電極は、当該フロント要 素と、当該の少なくとも1種類のエレクトロクロミック材料とを通過した後に、 当該光が当該反射体/電極に達するときに、当該媒体及び当該フロント要素を通 過してくる光を反射するのに有効である前記エレクトロクロミック可変反射率ミ ラー。 11.当該高反射性材料が、銀及び銀合金から成る群より選択される材料であ り、当該銀合金が、銀と、金、白金、ロジウム、及びパラジウムから実質的に成 る群より選択される元素との組合せである請求項10記載のミラー。 12.当該反射体/電極が、当該高反射性合金の下に配置されたベース層を更 に含む請求項11記載のミラー。 13.当該ベース層が:クロム;クロム・モリブデン・ニッケル合金;ニッケ ル・鉄・クロム合金;ステンレス鋼;及びチタンから実質的に成る群より選択さ れる材料を含む請求項12記載のミラー。 14.当該反射体/電極が、当該高反射性合金と当該ベース層との間に配置さ れた少なくとも1つの中間層を更に含み、当該中間層が:モリブデン;ロジウム ;ステンレス鋼;及びチタンから実質的に成る群より選択される材料を含む請 求項11記載のミラー。 15.当該フラッシュオーバー層が:ロジウム、モリブデン、及び白金から実 質的に成る群より選択される材料を含む請求項10記載のミラー。 16.それぞれがフロント表面とリア表面とを有する、フロントスペースド要 素及びリアスペースド要素とを含む、自動車用のエレクトロクロミック可変反射 率ミラーであって、当該フロント要素の当該リア表面がその上に配置された1層 の透明導電性材料を有し、当該リア要素の当該フロント表面が、当該リア要素の 当該フロント表面の当該全部分を隠蔽しているベース層と、当該リア要素の当該 フロント表面の内部を隠蔽している少なくとも1つの追加層とを含み、当該少な くとも1つの追加層が高反射性材料層を含み、その場合、当該フロントスペース ド要素及びリアスペースド要素は、間隔を空けた関係で一緒にシールによって結 合されて室が画定され、またその場合、当該室は、当該反射体/電極と接触して いる少なくとも1種類の溶液相エレクトロクロミック材料を含み、またその場合 、当該反射体/電極が、当該フロント要素と、当該の少なくとも1種類のエレク トロクロミック材料とを通過した後に、当該光が当該反射体/電極に達するとき に、当該媒体及び当該フロント要素を通過してくる光を反射するのに有効である 前記エレクトロクロミック可変反射率ミラー。 17.当該高反射性材料が、銀及び銀合金から成る群より選択される材料であ り、当該銀合金が、銀と、金、白金、ロジウム、及びパラジウムから実質的に成 る群より選択される元素との組合せである請求項16記載のミラー。 18.当該ベース層が:クロム;クロム・モリブデン・ニッケル合金;ニッケ ル・鉄・クロム合金;ステンレス鋼;及びチタンから実質的に成る群より選択さ れる材料を含む請求項16記載のミラー。 19.当該反射体/電極が、当該高反射性合金と当該ベース層との間に配置さ れた少なくとも1つの中間層を更に含み、当該中間層が:モリブデン;ロジウム ;ステンレス鋼;チタン;及びそれらの合金及びそれらの組合せから実質的に成 る群より選択される材料を含む請求項16記載のミラー。 20.当該中間層が、当該リア要素の当該フロント表面の全表面を隠蔽してい る請求項19記載のミラー。 21.当該中間層が、当該リア要素の当該フロント表面の内部を隠蔽している 請求項19記載のミラー。 22.当該反射体/電極が、当該高反射性層上に配置された少なくとも1つの フラッシュオーバー層を更に含み、当該フラッシュオーバー層が:ロジウム、モ リブデン、及び白金から実質的に成る群より選択される材料を含む請求項16記 載のミラー。 23.当該透明導電性材料層が、約0.1Ω/平方〜約40Ω/平方の面抵抗 を有する請求項16記載のミラー。 24.当該多層透明導電体の面抵抗が、約0.5Ω/平方〜約15Ω/平方で ある請求項16記載のミラー。 25.当該反射体/電極を、周囲部分で除去する請求項1,20及び16のい ずれかに記載のミラー。 26.当該反射体/電極を、エッチング、機械的削り取り、サンドブラスチン グから成る群より選択される技術によって除去する請求項25記載のミラー。 27.それぞれがフロント表面とリア表面とを有する、フロントスペースド要 素及びリアスペースド要素とを含む、自動車用のエレクトロクロミック可変反射 率ミラーであって、当該フロント要素の当該リア表面がその上に配置された1層 の透明導電性材料を有し、当該リア要素の当該フロント表面が、当該リア要素の 当該フロント表面の内部を隠蔽し、且つそれらの縁の小領域へと延びている高反 射性材料と、反射体/電極及び導電性材料の欠損領域によって当該反射体/電極 から分離された当該リア要素の当該フロント表面の周囲部分上に配置された導電 性材料とを含む反射体/電極の少なくとも1層を有し、当該フロントスペースド 要素及び当該リアスペースド要素は、当該導電性材料上に配置されたシール部材 によって、間隔を空けた関係で一緒にシールによって結合されて室を画定してお り、その場合、当該ミラーは、当該導電性材料と当該透明導電性材料との間に電 気的相互接続を提供する手段を更に含み、その場合、当該室が、当該反射体/電 極と接触している少なくとも1種類の溶液相エレクトロクロミック材料を含み、 またその場合、当該反射体/電極が、当該フロント要素と、当該の少なくとも1 種類のエレクトロクロミック材料とを通過した後に、当該光が当該反射体/電極 に達するときに、当該媒体及び当該フロント要素を通過してくる光を反射するの に有効である前記エレクトロクロミック可変反射率ミラー。 28.当該相互接続手段が、当該シール部材中に配置された導電性粒子を含む 請求項27記載のミラー。 29.当該導電性粒子が、銀である請求項28記載のミラー。 30.当該導電性粒子が、導電性材料で被覆されたビーズである請求項28記 載のミラー。 31.当該導電性ビーズを、金、銀及び銅の1つで被覆し、スペーサーとして 用いる請求項30記載のミラー。 32.当該相互接続手段が、当該シール部材の外縁上に配置された導電性相互 接続材料を含む請求項28記載のミラー。 33.非導電性材料を、当該導電性材料の当該リア要素欠損のフロント表面の 当該部分上に配置する請求項27記載のミラー。 34.それぞれがフロント表面とリア表面とを有する、フロントスペースド要 素及びリアスペースド要素とを含む、自動車用のエレクトロクロミック可変反射 率ミラーであって、当該フロント要素の当該リア表面がその上に配置された1層 の透明導電性材料を有し、当該リア要素の当該フロント表面が、高反射性材料を 含む反射体/電極によって隠蔽された周囲シール部材の硬化第一部分を有し、そ の場合、当該シール部材の当該硬化第一部分を予定の厚さまで除去して、当該反 射体/電極を、当該リア要素の当該フロント表面の内部を隠蔽し、その縁の小領 域まで延びている内部と、シール部材の当該硬化第一部分によって当該内部から 分離された外部とに分離され、その場合、当該反射体/電極の当該外部は当該内 部と電気的に接触しておらず、当該フロントスペースド要素及び当該リアスペー スド要素は、当該シール部材の当該硬化第一部分の上に配置された当該シール部 材の第二部分によって、間隔を空けた関係で一緒に結合されて室を画定しており 、その場合、当該ミラーは、当該反射体/電極の当該外部と当該透明導電性材料 との間に電気的相互接続を提供する手段を更に含み、その場合、当該室が、当該 反射体/電極と接触している少なくとも1種類の溶液相エレクトロクロミック材 料を含み、またその場合、当該反射体/電極が、当該フロント要素と、当該の少 な くとも1種類のエレクトロクロミック材料とを通過した後に、当該光が当該反射 体/電極に達するときに、当該媒体及び当該フロント要素を通過してくる光を反 射するのに有効である前記エレクトロクロミック可変反射率ミラー。 35.当該相互接続手段が、当該シール部材の外縁上に配置された導電性相互 接続材料を含む請求項34記載のミラー。 36.当該導電性相互接続材料が、導電性エポキシ及び導電性塗料から選択さ れる材料を含む請求項35記載のミラー。
