図4に、空気膜9を屈折率(n)が1の薄膜として考え、屈折率(n)が1.8の光学部品により、空気層9の厚さtを介した場合の第1の誘電体膜5の反射率の入射角度依存性の計算結果を示す。空気層9の厚さを例えば50nmとすると、無反射コーティングにより、入射角が50degまでの光線に対して、第1の誘電体膜5の反射率は、いずれも10%以下になる。この結果によれば、この情報記録ディスクにおいては、結合効率が高くなっているとともに、空気層の厚さの変化に対して、結合効率の変化が緩やかであることがわかる。
