Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.下記の特性を有する、燃料又は潤滑添加剤として用いるのに適したモノ不 飽和のオレフィン性炭化水素ポリマー: (a)平均のエチレンシーケンス長さESL約1.0〜約3.0未満; (b)該ポリマーを構成するポリマー鎖の炭素原子100当たり平均で少なく とも5の枝; (c)該枝の少なくとも約50%はメチル及び/又はエチル枝である; (d)該ポリマー鎖の少なくとも約30%はビニル又はビニリデン基を末端基 とする; (e)数平均分子量Mn約300〜約10,000;及び (f)炭化水素及び/又は合成ベースオイルへの相当の溶解度。 2.本質的に窒素を含むヘッド基を有するオレフィン性炭化水素ポリマーから なる燃料又は潤滑添加剤として用いるのに適した物質組成物であり、該ポリマー は、エチレン、C3〜C20α−オレフィン及びC3〜C20α−オレフィンの混合物 からなる群より選ぶ少なくとも一種の重合性オレフィンモノマーから導かれ、該 ポリマーは、下記の特性を有する物質組成物: (a)平均のエチレンシーケンス長さESL約1.0〜約3.0未満; (b)該ポリマーを構成するポリマー鎖の炭素原子100当たり平均で少なく とも5の枝; (c)該枝の少なくとも約50%はメチル及び/又はエチル枝である; (d)該ポリマー鎖の少なくとも約30%はビニル又はビニリデン基を末端基 とする; (e)数平均分子量Mn約300〜約10,000;及び (f)炭化水素及び/又は合成ベースオイルへの相当の溶解度。 3.燃料又は潤滑添加剤として用いるのに適したモノ不飽和のオレフィン性炭 化水素ポリマーを連続して製造する際に、該ポリマーは、下記の特性を有し: (a)平均のエチレンシーケンス長さESL約1.0〜約3.0未満; (b)該ポリマーを構成するポリマー鎖の炭素原子100当たり平均で少なく とも5の枝; (c)該枝の少なくとも約50%はメチル及び/又はエチル枝である; (d)該ポリマー鎖の少なくとも約30%はビニル又はビニリデン基を末端基 とする; (e)数平均分子量Mn約300〜約10,000;及び (f)炭化水素及び/又は合成ベースオイルへの相当の溶解度; 該ポリマーは、エチレン、C3〜C20α−オレフィン及びC3〜C20α−オレフィ ンの混合物からなる群より選ぶ少なくとも一種の重合性オレフィン性モノマーか ら導きかつかつ液相を収容する反応域でレイト遷移金属触媒系の存在において重 合させる方法であって、更に、下記: (A)少なくとも一種のα−オレフィンモノマーを選ぶ場合に、該α−オレフ ィンを製油所又はスチームクラッカーから希薄な、液化されたα−オレフィン供 給流として連続して供給し、該供給流は、希釈剤を混和させて含有し、該供給流 中の希釈剤の量は、少なくとも30重量%であり; (B)エチレンを選ぶ場合に、エチレンを含む供給流を液体、蒸気、及び/又 は液体/蒸気の形態で連続して供給し; (C)エチレンとα−オレフィンとの混合物を選ぶ場合に、工程(A)及び( B)の供給流を混和して平均のエチレンシーケンス長さESL約1.0〜約3. 0未満を含有するポリマーを生じるのに有効なα−オレフィン/エチレン重量比 を有する反応体供給流とし; (D)工程(A)、(B)又は(C)に従って導く該供給流又は該反応体供給 流及びレイト遷移金属触媒系を反応域の液相中に、下記: (i)エチレン及び/又はα−オレフィンを重合させて数平均分子量が1 0,000以下のポリマー生成物とする; (ii)α−オレフィンをモノマーとして用いる場合に、α−オレフィン 転化率少なくとも30%を得る; (iii)エチレンをモノマーとして用いる場合に、エチレン転化率少な くとも70%を得る; のに十分な様式及び条件下で連続して導入し; (E)該ポリマーを反応装置から連続して抜き出す ことを含む方法。 4.官能化する前のポリマーが請求項1のポリマーを含む官能化されたポリマ 。 5.請求項4の官能化されたポリマーと変性用化合物との反応生成物を含む、 潤滑油又は分散添加剤として有用な変性されたポリマー。 6.主量の潤滑粘度のベースストック潤滑油、及び請求項1の燃料又は潤滑添 加剤として用いるのに適したモノ不飽和のオレフィン性炭化水素ポリマーを含む 有効量の粘度調整剤を含む潤滑油組成物。 7.主量の潤滑ベースオイル、潤滑油流動性向上剤、及び従たる量の請求項6 の油溶性ポリマーを含む潤滑油組成物。 8.炭化水素ミネラル油希釈剤及び炭化水素ミネラル油希釈剤の全重量に基づ いて2〜50重量%の請求項1の燃料又は潤滑添加剤として用いるのに適したモ ノ不飽和のオレフィン性炭化水素ポリマーを含む油添加剤コンセントレート組成 物。 9.炭化水素ミネラル油希釈剤及び炭化水素ミネラル油希釈剤の全重量に基づ いて2〜50重量%の潤滑油又は分散添加剤として有用な変性されたポリマーを 含み、該変性されたポリマーは、請求項4の官能化されたポリマーの反応生成物 を含む油添加剤コンセントレート組成物。 10.ベースオイル及び分散添加剤としての、請求項4又は5のいずれかの官 能化された又は変性されたポリマーを含み、下記のいずれかの形態の潤滑油又は 燃料油組成物: (a)該分散添加剤11〜80重量%を含有する潤滑油コンセントレート;又 は (b)該分散添加剤0.1〜10重量%を含有する潤滑油組成物;又は (c)該分散添加剤11〜80重量%を含有する燃料油コンセントレート;又 は (d)該分散添加剤0.001〜0.1重量%を含有する燃料油組成物。 11.燃料又は潤滑添加剤として用いるのに適したモノ不飽和のオレフィン性 炭化水素ポリマーを連続して製造する際に、該ポリマーは、エチレン、C3〜C2 0 α−オレフィン及びC3〜C20α−オレフィンの混合物からなる群より選ぶ少な くとも一種の重合性オレフィンモノマーから導きかつかつ液相を収容する反応域 でレイト遷移金属触媒系の存在において重合させる方法であって、更に、下記: (A)少なくとも一種のα−オレフィンモノマーを選ぶ場合に、該α−オレフ ィンを製油所又はスチームクラッカーから希薄な、液化されたα−オレフィン供 給流として連続して供給し、該供給流は、希釈剤を混和させて含有し、該供給流 中の希釈剤の量は、少なくとも30重量%であり; (B)エチレンを選ぶ場合に、エチレンを含む供給流を液体、蒸気、又は液体 /蒸気の形態で連続して供給し; (C)エチレンとα−オレフィンとの混合物を選ぶ場合に、工程(A)及び( B)の供給流を混和して平均のエチレンシーケンス長さESL約1.0〜約3. 0未満を含有するポリマーを生じるのに有効なα−オレフィン/エチレン重量比 を有する反応体供給流とし; (D)工程(A)、(B)又は(C)に従って導く該供給流又は該反応体供給 流及びレイト遷移金属触媒系を反応域の液相中に、下記: (i)エチレン及び/又はα−オレフィンを重合させて燃料又は潤滑添加 剤として用いるのに適した数平均分子量を有するポリマー生成物とする; (ii)α−オレフィンをモノマーとして用いる場合に、α−オレフィン 転化率少なくとも30%を得る; (iii)エチレンをモノマーとして用いる場合に、エチレン転化率少な くとも70%を得る; のに十分な様式及び条件下で連続して導入し; (E)該ポリマーを反応装置から連続して抜き出す ことを含む方法。
