Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.セラミックパッキングエレメントを形成するセラミックプレートであって、 上記プレートの少なくとも第1の表面は、複数の平行なリブを含み、上記複数 の平行なリブの間に平行な溝を形成し、第2のプレートの第1の表面に隣接する 上記プレートの配置上で、上記表面は上記溝を閉鎖して、チャネルを形成するこ とを特徴とするセラミックプレート。 2.請求項1のセラミックプレートであって、前記プレートは平面状であること を特徴とするセラミックプレート。 3.請求項1のセラミックプレートであって、前記プレートの他の表面はさらに 、平行なリブと平行な溝とを含むことを特徴とするセラミックプレート。 4.請求項1のセラミックプレートであって、前記隣接するリブの間のスペース は、リブの幅よりも大きいことを特徴とするセラミックプレート。 5.請求項1のセラミックプレートであって、前記セラミックは未焼結状態にあ ることを特徴とするセラミックプレート。 6.請求項1のセラミックプレートであって、前記セラミックは硬化状態にある ことを特徴とするセラミックプレート。 7.請求項6のセラミックプレートであって、前記表面は、触媒層を含むことを 特徴とするセラミックプレート。 8.請求項1のセラミックプレートであって、0.5インチから12インチの範 囲の幅及び深さと、0.01インチから1インチの範囲の厚みを有することを特 徴とするセラミックプレート。 9.請求項1のセラミックプレートであって、前記リブの間で前記プレートを貫 通する穿孔を含むことを特徴とするセラミックプレート。 10.セラミックパッキングエレメントであって、 個々のセラミックプレートのスタックと、 複数の平行なリブを含む第1の表面を有し、上記リブの間に複数の溝を形成す る第1のプレートと、 上記第1のプレートの上記第1の表面との閉鎖接点にあり、平行なチャネルを 形成する第1の表面を有する第2のプレートと、 上記第1の表面を一緒に接着するための接着手段と、 を備えることを特徴とするセラミックパッキングエレメント。 11.請求項10のセラミックパッキングエレメントであって、前記接着手段は 、無機接着剤からなることを特徴とするセラミックパッキングエレメント。 12.請求項10のセラミックパッキングエレメントであって、前記リブの間の スペースは、前記リブの幅よりも広く、対向する表面上のリブは挟み込まれてい ることを特徴とするセラミックパッキングエレメント。 13.請求項10のセラミックパッキングエレメントであって、前記第2のプレ ートの第1の表面上のリブは、前記第1のプレートの第1の表面上のリブよりも さらに離隔して設けられており、前記リブの少なくともいくつかは、対向する溝 の底面に挟み込まれて着座していることを特徴とするセラミックパッキングエレ メント。 14.請求項10のセラミックパッキングエレメントであって、前記チャネルは 、拡大された入口を有することを特徴とするセラミックパッキングエレメント。 15.請求項10に規定するセラミックパッキングエレメントを複数備えるセラ ミックパッキングアセンブリであって、上記複数のセラミックパッキングエレメ ントは上記アセンブリ内に組み込まれており、整合されたチャネルと、上記エレ メントを一緒に固着するための固着手段とを有することを特徴とするセラミック パッキングアセンブリ。 16.請求項15のセラミックパッキングアセンブリであって、前記固着手段は 、金属バンドを備えることを特徴とするセラミックパッキングアセンブリ。 17.セラミックパッキングエレメントを形成する方法であって、 セラミックプレートの第1の表面内に、複数の平行なリブとその間に形成され た平行な溝とを形成する工程と、 第1のプレートの第1の表面を、第2のプレートの第1の表面と係合させるよ うに置き、上記溝を閉鎖してチャネルを形成する工程と、 上記第1の表面を一緒に接着する工程と、を備えることを特徴とする方法。 18.請求項17の形成方法であって、前記セラミックエレメントは硬化された 状態にあり、前記プレートは無機接着剤によって接着されることを特徴とする方 法。 19.プレートの表面上にリブと溝とを有するプレートのスタックから形成され たセラミックパッキングエレメントであって、プレートを隣接する対向するプレ ートにラッチしてプレートがチャネルに直交する方向に移動しないようにする手 段を含み、該手段はプレートの端部リブと共働することを特徴とするセラミック パッキングエレメント。 20.請求項19のセラミックパッキングエレメントであって、前記第1のプレ ート上の端部リブは、プレートの側部に配設されており、対向するプレートの端 部リブは、第1のプレート上の端部リブの厚さ分だけインデントされており、プ レートが対向するプレートのインデントされた端部リブに隣接する第1のプレー トの端部リブと組み立てられるとき、チャネルに対して垂直方向への移動が阻止 されることを特徴とするセラミックパッキングエレメント。
