Abstract
きの感触を良好にすることを課題とする。 【解決手段】 複数の部分レンズ2、3が溶着により一
体に形成された車輌灯具用レンズ1であって、互いに溶
着された部分レンズの少なくとも一方のものの境界部側
の表面3b、4aを境界に近づくに従って後方に変位す
るようにした。
Description
ンズに関する。詳しくは、見栄え及び指触感を良好にす
る技術に関する。
を溶着により一体化したものがある。例えば、いわゆる
コンビネーションランプに使用するレンズなどがある。
と部分レンズbとを溶着により一体化する場合、双方か
ら溶着脚c、dを突設し、これら溶着脚c、dを相手方
の部分レンズa又はbに当接した状態で溶着するように
なっている。
具の精度や位置決め精度の問題等種々の原因により、部
分レンズaとbとが、図2に示すように、ずれて溶着さ
れてしまうことがある。すると、境界部eにおいて段差
fが生じ、見栄えが悪く、また、指で触ったときの感触
が悪いという問題がある。
なわち、指で触ったときの感触を良好にすることを課題
とする。
は、上記した課題を解決するために、互いに溶着された
部分レンズの少なくとも一方のものの境界部側の表面を
境界に近づくに従って後方に変位するようにしたもので
ある。
は、互いに溶着された部分レンズ同士にずれが生じたと
しても、正面側から見て元々窪みのある部分でのずれで
あるので、視覚的に目立たず、また、指で触っても、元
々の窪みの方が与えるインパクトが強く、上記ずれをほ
とんど感じさせることがない。
の実施の形態を添付図面を参照して説明する。なお、図
示した実施の形態は2つの部分レンズを溶着により一体
化した車輌灯具用レンズ1について適用したものであ
る。
2と3とが溶着により一体化して成るものである。溶着
の手段は特に問うものではない。
レンズ3と溶着される側の端部に表面2aと連続し部分
レンズ方へと突出した溶着脚4が突設されている。そし
て、該溶着脚4の部分レンズ3との境界部5側端部の表
面4aは境界部5に行くに従って後方へ変位する傾斜面
とされている。
へ突出した接合脚6が形成されている。

りの部分から部分レンズ2の方へ突出した溶着脚8が形
成されている。そして、該溶着脚8の突出量P8(溶着
前の溶着脚8の形状を図1に2点鎖線で示す)は表面側
に位置している部分レンズ2の溶着脚4の突出量P4よ
りかなり大きくなっている。
部5側端部3bは境界部5に行くに従って後方へ変位す
る傾斜面とされている。
着、例えば、振動溶着法により溶着するには、先ず、互
いの接合端部が当接される。すなわち、部分レンズ3の
溶着脚8の先端面が部分レンズ2の接合脚6に当接され
る。
に振動が与えられ、部分レンズ3の溶着脚8と部分レン
ズ2の接合脚6の互いに接触している部分が溶融して一
体化していく。そして、部分レンズ2の溶着脚4が部分
レンズ3の接合端面に当接した直後に振動が解除され、
溶着脚4及び部分レンズ3のうち該溶着脚4が当接して
いた部分は僅かに溶融した状態となる。

窪み、すなわち、断面V字状の溝9が形成される。
により接合された2つの部分レンズ2と3との間にV字
状の溝9が形成されるので、部分レンズ2と3との間に
前後に多少のずれがあっても、上記V字溝9によって視
覚的に目立つことが無く、また、部分レンズ2と3を境
界部5を横断するように指でなぞったとしても、指に与
える感触はV字溝9の方がはるかに大きく、部分レンズ
2と3との間の僅かなずれなどほとんど感じることがな
い。
は、部分レンズ2、3の接合端部に傾斜面4a、3bを
形成したが、該部分はアール(R)面としても良い。
ンズ2、3の双方に形成する必要はなく、少なくとも、
部分レンズ2、3のどちらか一方に形成すれば、その目
的を達成することができる。ただ、部分レンズ2、3の
双方に傾斜面又はアール(R)面を形成した方が見栄え
がより良好になり、また、指触感も良好となる。
の部分レンズを溶着により一体化した車輌灯具用レンズ
1を例として示したが、本発明は3つ以上の部分レンズ
を溶着により一体化した車輌灯具用レンズにも適用可能
であることは勿論である。
各部の形状及び構造は、何れも本発明を実施するに際し
て行う具体化のほんの一例を示したものに過ぎず、これ
らによって、本発明の技術的範囲が限定的に解釈される
ことがあってはならないものである。

互いに溶着された部分レンズの少なくとも一方のものの

- 【請求項1】 複数の部分レンズが溶着により一体に形
成された車輌灯具用レンズであって、 互いに溶着された部分レンズの少なくとも一方のものの
境界部側の表面を境界に近づくに従って後方に変位する
ようにしたことを特徴とする車輌灯具用レンズ。
