(57)【要約】 【課題】 精度のよい位置合せと優れた溶着強度を確保
することができる樹脂部品のカシメ構造を提供するこ
と。 【解決手段】 接合固定される一対の樹脂部品1、2の
うち、一方の樹脂部品1の片面に板状のリブ3が設けら
れ、他方の樹脂部品2には前記リブ3を挿通させるスリ
ット孔4が設けられるとともに、このスリット孔4と直
交して板状ガイド5、5が相互間に所要の間隔をおいて
片面に設けられ、前記スリット孔4を通じて挿通させた
リブ3の一部を溶融・固化して両樹脂部品1、2をカシ
メ一体化してある。

【発明の詳細な説明】
【0001】
【発明の属する技術分野】本発明は、精度のよい位置合
せと優れた溶着強度を確保することができる樹脂部品の
カシメ構造に関するものである。
【0002】
【従来の技術】例えば、ドアトリムのような自動車用部
品等の樹脂部品のカシメ構造として、相互に接合固定さ
れる樹脂部品の一方に凸状ボスが突設されているととも
に、他方の樹脂部品に前記ボスを挿通するための挿入孔
が設けられており、前記ボスを挿入孔に挿通させた後、
ボスの先端を溶着・固定して相互の樹脂部品を一体化し
たものが知られている(例えば、実開平4−63227
号公報参照)。
【0003】ところが、従来のような樹脂部品のカシメ
構造では、ボスを複数箇所に形成した場合の位置合せに
おいて、例えば、ドアトリムのオーナメント部分が中空
で、該中空部分に木目込み風に裏蓋を装着する場合、挿
入孔とボスとはセットし易いように若干隙を持たせた構
造となっている。この結果、正確な位置合せが困難で木
目込み溝幅のズレを生じて外観品質を低下させるという
問題点があり、また衝撃荷重等がボスに集中するため破
損しやすく締結強度に劣るという問題点もあった。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】本発明は上記のような
従来の問題点を解決して、精度のよい位置合せと優れた
溶着強度を確保することができる樹脂部品のカシメ構造
を提供することを目的として完成されたものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】上記の課題を解決するた
めになされた本発明の樹脂部品のカシメ構造は、接合固
定される一対の樹脂部品のうち、一方の樹脂部品の片面
に板状のリブが設けられ、他方の樹脂部品には前記リブ
を挿通させるスリット孔が設けられるとともに、このス
リット孔と直交して板状ガイドが相互間に所要の間隔を
おいて片面に設けられ、前記スリット孔を通じて挿通さ
せたリブの中間部分を板状ガイド間において溶融・固化
して両樹脂部品をカシメ一体化してあることを特徴とす
るものである。

【発明の実施の形態】以下に、図面を参照しつつ本発明
の好ましい実施の形態を示す。図面は、自動車用ドアト
リムに適用した場合を示すものであって、図中1、2は
相互に接合固定する一対の樹脂部品である。そして、一
方の樹脂部品1の片面には板状のリブ3が突設されてお
り、また、他方の樹脂部品2には前記リブ3を挿通する
ためのスリット孔4が設けられているとともに、該スリ
ット孔4の長手方向に直交する一対のリブ挟持用の板状
ガイド5、5が片面に設けられており、本発明はこれら
の樹脂部品1、2を前記スリット孔4にリブ3を挿通さ
せたうえリブ3の中間部分を板状ガイド5、5間で溶着
・固化して一体化したカシメ構造である。
【0007】なお、図示のものでは、前記板状ガイド5
は所定間隔をおいて2個設けられ、これら板状ガイド
5、5の間に位置するリブ3が溶着・固化されたものと
なっており、リブ3が板状ガイド5によって挟持される
ことによりガタツキの発生が確実に防止されるととも
に、締結強度の向上も図られた構造となっている。ま
た、スリット孔4はその一端が他方の樹脂部品2の端部
から外部に開放されたものとなっていて、組み付け時に
おけるリブ3の挿入を容易なものとしている。更に、ス
リット孔4の他端4aは所定長さで閉じられており、こ
の他端4aはリブ3を挿入した際のストッパーとしての
役割を果たしてリブ3の正確な位置決めが容易に行える
構造となっている。
【0008】このようなカシメ構造は、図4に示される
ように、樹脂部品1のリブ3に対し樹脂部品2のスリッ
ト孔4を対応して挿通させた後、超音波ホーン10によ
りスリット孔4より突出しているリブ3を溶融変形さ
せ、次いで、前記スリット孔4の内部を十分に溶融樹脂
が満たすまで更に加圧して、樹脂部品1、2を完全に固
定状態とする溶着部6を形成することで簡単に成形する
ことができる。
【0009】このように構成されたものは、相互に接合
固定される樹脂部品1、2の一方に板状のリブ3が突設
されているとともに、他方の樹脂部品に前記リブ3を挿
通するためのスリット孔4と該スリット孔4の長手方向
に直交するリブ挟持用の板状ガイド5が設けられてお
り、前記リブ3をスリット孔4に挿通させた後に板状ガ
イド5、5の間でリブ3を溶着・固化することにより相
互の樹脂部品1、2を一体化したものであり、組付けが
容易で作業性に優れており、しかも確実な位置合せがで
きてズレが生ずることもなく外観品質に優れた製品を成
形することができ、しかも溶着強度も高く長期間にわた
り安定して使用に供することができることとなる。

【発明の効果】以上の説明からも明らかなように、本発
明は精度のよい位置合せと優れた溶着強度を確保するこ
とができるものである。よって本発明は従来の問題点を
一掃した樹脂部品のカシメ構造として、産業の発展に寄
与するところは極めて大である。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項1】 接合固定される一対の樹脂部品(1) 、
    (2) のうち、一方の樹脂部品(1) の片面に板状のリブ
    (3) が設けられ、他方の樹脂部品(2) には前記リブ(3)
    を挿通させるスリット孔(4) が設けられるとともに、こ
    のスリット孔(4)と直交して板状ガイド(5) 、(5) が相
    互間に所要の間隔をおいて片面に設けられ、前記スリッ
    ト孔(4) を通じて挿通させたリブ(3) の一部を溶融・固
    化して両樹脂部品(1) 、(2) をカシメ一体化してあるこ
    とを特徴とする樹脂部品のカシメ構造。
  2. 【請求項2】 スリット孔(4) を通じて挿通させたリブ
    (3) の中間部分を板状ガイド(5) 、(5) 間において溶融
    ・固化して両樹脂部品(1) 、(2) をカシメ一体化してあ
    る請求項1に記載の樹脂部品のカシメ構造。
  3. 【請求項3】 スリット孔(4) は、その一端が他方の樹
    脂部品(2) の端部から外部に開放されたものである請求
    項1または2に記載の樹脂部品のカシメ構造。
