Abstract
Un metodo per produrre una fusione impiegando un'anima di plastica. L'anima di plastica è fatta di una resina termoplastica e posta in uno stampo di colata in modo da formare una cavità nello stampo di colata. Un metallo fuso quale alluminio viene versato sotto pressione nella cavità per formare la fusione (prodotto). L'anima di plastica mantiene la sua forma iniziale durante la colata. Il calore della fusione che rimane oppure il metallo che solidifica fa in modo che l'anima di plastica fonda dopo la colata in modo che l'anima di plastica fusa venga facilmente asportata.
