Abstract

PURPOSE:To remove a runner formed of a heat insulating material easily from a product by fitting said runner into the sprue of metallic molds. CONSTITUTION:A runner 9 consisting of a heat insulating material is inserted and fitted into the sprue 8 of the top part 6 of metallic molds. When the molten metal packed in the cavities of the metallic molds solidifies and the solidification is going to progress to the runner 9 from the sprue 8, the runner 9 is separated from the top part 6. By such die casting device, the casting in the runner part 9 is separated from the product part without requiring much time and without using working equipment for removal.
