Abstract

PURPOSE: To melt a metal piece, fill the same in an extinctable pattern and simplify casting process by burying the resin pattern bonded with the metal piece in molding material and heating the same.
CONSTITUTION: A metal piece 2 is bonded to one end of a resin pattern 1 and is disposed at the center of a metal flask 3. Next, molding material is poured around the pattern 1 to form a mold 4, after which it is inserted into an electric oven and is heated. By the heating, the pattern 1 is burned away and the mold 4 is hardened. In addition, the metal piece 2 is melted. Thence, the mold 1 is taken out and the mold is tilted or rotated half to fill the molten metal in the cavity formed by the extinction of the pattern 1, after which it is cooled.
