Abstract

In un procedimento per fabbricare nastri o profilati laminati a caldo partendo da materiale ottenuto per colata continua fino ad ora, per scavalcare un'interruzione di durata relativamente breve del processo di laminazione, un pezzo colato in continuo, prodotto con il processo di colata continua, veniva introdotto in una zona di calma adeguatamente prolungata del forno di compensazione, laddove tratte di calma relativamente lunghe sono antieconomiche. Secondo la presente invenzione il materiale di partenza prodotto, con impiego di una parte del forno configurata in qualità di traghetto, viene enucleato dalla catena di processo e stoccato in una linea secondaria, accanto alla linea di produzione, se del caso in un punto di conservazione in caldo e, dopo l'eliminazione dell'interruzione, di nuovo inserito nella catena di produzione. Un impianto allo scopo configurato presenta un foro di compensazione (1) che, nella regione lato-uscita è configurato a mò di traghetto (4, 6) con mezzi per trasportare trasversalmente bramme sottili (20a) dalla linea di produzione (x-x) in una linea secondaria (y-y). Il traghetto (4, 6) presenta mezzi atti a riscaldare i pezzi colati in continuo (20a) presi in carico. In una configurazione del forno (1) con un secondo traghetto (5, 16), pezzi colati in continuo (20a) provenienti da un punto di conservazione in caldo (9) oppure da un magazzino (12) di raffreddamento del nastro di partenza possono essere immessi in circuito dalla linea secondaria (y-y) nella linea di produzione rispettivamente di laminazione (x-x).Con l'invenzione vengono eliminate ovvero evitate le perdite in materiale ed energia, sussistenti all'atto di un'interruzione relativamente lunga del processo di laminazione, omettendo una tratta di calma del forno di compensazione.(Disegno: figura 3).
