Abstract

Viene descritto un processo per produrre acciaio laminato a caldo in nastro da almeno una colata continua di bramme di spessore compreso tra 80 e 120 mm con velocità di colata tra 2 e 5 m/min e temperatura all'uscita tra 850 e 1150°C, comprendente tra l'altro una fase di riscaldamento della bramma a temperatura adatta alla laminazione in una zona di riscaldo trasversale atta a fungere da "polmone" tra colata e laminazione. Viene anche descritto un impianto atto a realizzare tale processo.
