Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a high tensile thin sheet with tensile strength more than 95 kg/mm2 by hot rolling carbon steel of a specified compsn. at 750-900°C; cooling the hot rolled sheet to 500-620°C within 1-100 sec; coiling the sheet; and then carrying out cold rolling at a draft of 40-85% and annealing at 350 -650°C.
