Abstract

A találmány tárgyát képezik nukleinsavak és azok variánsai ésfragmensei, amelyeket d-endotoxinokat kódoló Bacillus thuringiensistörzsekből állítottak elő, és amelyeknek peszticid aktivitása van afedelesszárnyúak rendjébe tartozó kártevőkkel szemben. A találmánytárgyát képezik továbbá mutagenizált nukleinsavak, amelyek módosítvalettek javított peszticid-aktivitású és/vagy megváltoztatott kártevő-specifitású endotoxinok kódolására. A találmány előnyös megvalósításimódjai szerint a találmány tárgyát képezik izolált nukleinsavak,amelyek peszticid-aktivitású fehérjéket kódolnak, peszticid-aktivitásúkészítmények, expressziós kazetták, és találmány szerinti nukleinsavattartalmazó transzformált mikroorganizmus és növények. Ezek akészítmények alkalmazhatók kártevők, különösen növényi kártevőkfékentartására szolgáló eljárásokban. Ó
