Abstract

A találmány tárgya eljárás anyagnak neutronárammal való besugárzására,ezáltal hasznos izotóp termelésére és radioaktív hulladék legalább egyhosszú felezési idejű izotópjának átalakítására. A besugárzási eljáráslényege, hogy az anyagot neutronforrást körülvevő, neutronokatlényegében teljesen áteresztő neutronszóró közegben osztják el,továbbá a neutronszóró közeget, a benne lejátszódó neutronszórással aneutronforrásból kilépő és az anyagot besugárzó neutronáramot fokozónrendezik el. Az izotóptermelésre szolgáló eljárás lényege, hogy azanyagot neutronforrást körülvevő, neutronokat lényegében teljesenáteresztő neutronszóró közegben osztják el, a neutronszóró közeget, abenne lejátszódó neutronszórással a neutronforrásból kilépő és azanyagot besugárzó neutronáramot fokozón rendezik el, továbbá azelőállított hasznos izotópot a besugárzott anyagból kinyerik. Aradioaktív hulladék legalább egy hosszú felezési idejű izotópjaátalakítására szolgáló eljárás lényege, hogy az anyagot neutronforrástkörülvevő, neutronokat lényegében teljesen áteresztő neutronszóróközegben osztják el, továbbá a neutronszóró közeget, a bennelejátszódó neutronszórással a neutronforrásból kilépő és az anyagotbesugárzó neutronáramot fokozón rendezik el, továbbá a neutronszóróközegnek legalább azon részét, amelyben a besugárzott anyag vanelosztva nehéz elemekből alakítják ki, miáltal a neutronforrásbólkilépő neutronok energiáját többszörös rugalmas neutronszórásonkeresztül lassan csökkentik.
